Annular grate firing with central discharge shaft The invention relates to
an annular grate furnace, in which the fuel is moved towards the middle of the grate,
where the combustion residues reach a central discharge shaft. Here
it is inevitable that unburned fuel will also get into the discharge chute

An

The annular grate firing, which is designed as a rotating grate in the exemplary embodiment, has the grate bar rings ra, b, c , which are arranged eccentrically with respect to one another and are arranged in a staircase-like manner. Due to the eccentric mounting of the grate bar rings, the fuel is pushed towards the center of the furnace when they rotate. The discharge chute, the wall of which is formed by the pipe coil d, is connected to the bottom of the inner free annular space of the lowermost grate bar ring a. The ends of the pipe coil are connected to the boiler circuit. The free shaft space formed by the pipe coil d is covered at the bottom by the post-combustion grate f which can be tilted and pivoted about the axis e, and the crushing roller g lies parallel to its front edge. The inclination of the tilting grate f and thus the interaction with the crushing roller g can be adjusted to suit the operating conditions. This influences the size reduction, removal and the effect of the afterburning grate at the same time. The pitch of the pipe coil d and the distance between the windings are chosen so that combustion air flowing in through the air supply lines h can reach the shaft space formed by the pipe coil in sufficient quantities. The coil d thus also acts as a grate for the afterburning of the discharge material. The shaft space can also, as indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1, be folded down and the shaft can thus be fully opened.
