Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
Metal caps are used to support the rock in the pit. Doing so often the space immediately adjacent to the coal face by cantilevered, gallows-like caps supports. The self-supporting caps are attached to the last permanently installed and supported by stamps Cap attached. Attachment is made easier by an articulated joint consisting of an in ordered a pivot pin to be used. Usually the caps are installed in such a way that the hinge eye pointing towards the coal face.
In order not to have to enter the unsupported longwall area when building in front, according to patent 955 679 it has been proposed that the cap to be preinstalled initially transversely to the already installed cap on this start, then the cap up to about the horizontal position in a plane perpendicular to the built-in Swivel up the cap and finally swivel it in in a horizontal plane until it is aligned with the built-in cap. Then the cap must be pressed against the rock cover will.
In order to be able to pre-assemble the cap in this way, there are two pivoting movements in two to each other approximately vertical planes necessary. According to the main patent 955 679, the articulation of the both caps are designed as a universal joint. The present invention thus achieves one Simplification than pre-depositing by pivoting in two mutually perpendicular planes as well without a universal joint is possible, and is based on the consideration that a special pivot pin for the pivoting movement about a vertical axis, i.e. the pivoting in a horizontal plane, saved can be.
This is achieved according to the invention in that a support flange is provided below the joint eye is on which the newly attached cap is located with its pin when pivoting up and in temporarily supported, and that the hinge eye elongated according to the length of the pin is for the entry of the pin into the eye when pivoting into the alignment line.
A cap design according to the invention is shown using the illustrations in the installation phases.

Each of the two caps 1, 5 is at one end with a hinge pin 6 and at the other end with a hinge eye 14 into which the pin 6 the new to be attached cap 5 is to be used. Fig. 1 shows the front one, i.e. the one facing the coal face End of the built-in cap 1, which is already firmly supported with a stamp. The eye 14 is like out Fig. 1 can be seen, is elongated and lies laterally next to the longitudinal center plane of the cap (cf. Fig. 2). In the example shown, the cap has an I-profile, between the straps 1 '(Fig. 5) Wedge 9 is guided to stiffen the articulated connection so as to be longitudinally displaceable. The wedge 9 is through a Web 10 protected against slipping out of the profile of the cap 1 to the side. Below the wedge 9 is the end of the cap with a widened flange 16 for supporting and guiding the pivot pin 6 the new cap 5 to be attached (Fig. 2).

Für eine Auflage der vorgeschobenen Stütznase 17 ist die Kappe 1 auch auf der dem Riegel 9 gegenüberliegenden Seite mit einem als Führungsflansch dienenden verbreiterten Oberflansch 1" versehen.4-5 support bar 7, which is on the cap web between the belts - similar to the locking wedge 9 in the cap 1 - is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner and on a support nose 17 carries its front end. aufgehängt, und zwar durch. Slide the pivot pin 6 onto the flange part 16 (Fig. 1). Has the pin 6 the same direction as the wedge 9 above it. The pin 6 is supported on the head of the withdrawn wedge 9 (Fig. 2). The cap 5 then becomes from the initial pendulum position raised to about the horizontal position and in this position by pushing the Support bar 7 supported. During this advance movement of the bolt 7, its support lug 17 comes over the flange 1 ″. The cap 5, held in the raised position on the bolt 7 in this way, is removed from its Transverse position via the intermediate position shown in Fig. 3 into its final alignment position Fig. 4 pivoted. During this pivoting movement, the pin 6 enters the eye 14, according to the measure the pin length is elongated, and the pin 6 is transverse to the wedge 9. This is now from its rear end position to stiffen the articulated connection is advanced into its effective position and engages into the profile of the cap 5 pivoted into the alignment line (Fig. 5). In the course of the feed movement of the wedge 9, the cap 5 is raised up to the hanging wall and stiffened on this the articulation of the pin 6 in the eye 14 is pressed. This will be in the final Position of support bar 7 and flange 1 "relieved. The Wedge 9 can remain in its advanced position as long as the pre-seized cap The hanging wall should support it in a cantilevered manner. As soon as the pre-attached cap is supported by a stamp the joint stiffening must be lifted and this both the wedge 9 and the support bar 7 are withdrawn.
