Es wird nämlich eine Siebvorrichtung von runder, napfartiger Form vorgesehen, bei welcher die Sieblöcher so angeordnet sind, dafs ein gerades Durchströmen des Wassers aus dem Rohr nicht möglich ist. Die Siebvorrichtung ist nämlich nur einseitig mit Löchern versehen, und zwar an der der Einströmungsöffnung gegenüber liegenden Seite. Das einströmende Wasser wird also gegen die volle Wandung der Siebvorrichtung anprallen müssen und gezwungen, sich erst nach unten zu drehen und dann um den napfartigen Theil der Siebvorrichtung herum seitlich und hinten in das Innere des Siebes einzudringen. Die Folge davon ist, dafs die Fremdkörper Theilchen des Wassers, wie Zinnstückchen, Sandkörnchen u. s. f., die stets von der Wasserströmung mitgenommen werden, niederschlagen müssen, indem sie, als specifisch schwerer, schneller sich herabsenken, als die sich unterhalb des Siebes anstauenden Wassertheilchen. In einem zweckmäfsig darunter vorgesehenen Gehäuse werden sich dann die Fremdkörperchen aufsammeln können, um hier von Zeit zu Zeit aus dem Wassermesser entnommen zu werden.The present invention now forms a device for separating Foreign bodies in water knives, with which the well-known adherent defects are completely avoided.
