In Fig. 1 ist ein aus spritzgegossenem Kunststoff hergestelltes Bildschirmgehäuse 1 dargestellt, das aus einer Gehäuseschale 2 und einem mit der Gehäuseschale 2 verbundenen Rahmen 3, der einen berührungsempfindlichen Bildschirm 4 einfasst, besteht. Da die Gehäuseschale 2 bei beiden Ausführungsformen gleich ausgebildet ist, kann die Fertigung vereinfacht werden, da weniger Montageteile erforderlich sind. Ist die Verbindung zwischen dem Rahmen 3 und der Gehäuseschale 2 lösbar ausgebildet, so kann auch nach der Inbetriebnahme eines Kassensystems beispielsweise ein berührungsempfindlicher Bildschirm 4 gegen eine Tastatur 6 oder umgekehrt ausgetauscht werden, ohne dass eine andere Gehäuseschale erforderlich ist.
