Abstract

For the purpose of simplified securing of a movable loading floor (20) located in a rear area (H) of a motor vehicle (1), which motor vehicle (1) has a locking bar (10) attached to a tailgate (5) which is optionally in a closed position or an open position, is provided that the striker (10) is operatively connected to the loading floor (20) in the closed position of the tailgate (5).

Description

The present invention relates to a motor vehicle according to claim 1.

More and more motor vehicles are being equipped with movable loading floors. These will be like from the DE 195 376 72 A1 is known secured by means of comparatively complex designed locks while driving the motor vehicle.

It is the object of the present invention to specify a simplified alternative to the motor vehicles known from the prior art.

This object is solved by a motor vehicle according to claim 1. Advantageous developments are specified in the dependent claims.

The motor vehicle according to the invention has in its rear area a movable loading floor, which can be displaced in a translatory manner in particular in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and/or pivoted about a pivot axis running in the transverse direction of the vehicle, and a tailgate, which can be opened or closed in a manner known per se. The term "loading floor" is not only to be understood as a loading floor in the narrower sense, but also as an insert floor or a storage floor in a motor vehicle.

For the purpose of securing the tailgate, a locking bar, which is also known per se, is provided, which interacts with a lock. Thus, the lock is set up to release the striker so that the tailgate can be opened, or to lock the striker to prevent opening of the tailgate. The motor vehicle according to the invention is characterized in that the striker is operatively connected to the loading floor in the closed position of the tailgate. This enables the loading floor to be secured against unwanted movement when the tailgate is closed by means of a locking bar that is standard in a motor vehicle, so that the known additional securing means for loading floors can advantageously be dispensed with.

According to a preferred embodiment, in the closed position of the tailgate, the striker is operatively connected to the loading floor in a non-positive and/or positive manner. This advantageously creates a connection between the striker bar and the loading floor that is particularly easy to produce, but also detachable.

This is all the more true if the loading floor has a receptacle into which a locking bar-actuated, and therefore movable, latching means engages.

Advantageously, the locking means is designed to be movable relative to the loading floor and set up to move it into the receptacle when the closed position is assumed and to move it out of the receptacle when the open position is assumed. In other words, the striker actuates the latching means during a movement that it carries out anyway for the purpose of an opening movement or closing movement of the tailgate. This creates a further structural simplification of the device according to the invention.

According to a preferred embodiment, it is provided that the latching means has a latching section on the loading floor and a latching section at the rear, and a latching bar section on the loading floor side of the latching bar for assuming the closed position with the latching section at the loading floor side and a section of the latching bracket on the rear side for assuming the open position with the latching section of the latching means at the rear located in plant. This further simplifies the structural design of the device according to the invention.

According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the latching means has an opening in which the closing bar section on the loading floor is located at one end and the rear closing bar section at the other end when the tailgate is closed. This creates a particularly space-saving structure for the device according to the invention.

In principle, the latching means can be moved in any suitable manner in order to release or not release the loading floor or to block it against movement. So it is conceivable to move the latching means in rotation, in translation or in a combination of rotation and translation. However, a structural design that is particularly easy to implement in an advantageous manner provides a linear guide means in which the latching means is accommodated. In other words, the latching means is accommodated in a guide means in a translationally movable manner in order to lock the loading floor when the tailgate is closed or to release it when the tailgate is open.

A detailed, non-prejudicing, in particular limiting, description of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is given below with reference to the single figure. Like elements are with identical Provided with reference symbols, unless otherwise indicated.

The figure is a schematic side view of a motor vehicle 1 according to the invention. Specifically, part of a rear area H of motor vehicle 1 is shown with a body 3 that can be opened or closed in a manner known per se by means of a tailgate 5. The tailgate 5 shown in this embodiment includes a tailgate panel 5-2 to which a striker 10 is attached. The tailgate panel 5-2 and the part of the striker 10 located directly on it are covered by a tailgate panel 5-4 in order to produce a particularly aesthetic effect of the motor vehicle 1 in the rear region H.

The tailgate 5 shown in the figure is in its closed state, i.e. the area of the bracket 10 distally removed from the tailgate panel 5-2, and thus its holding section 10-2, is fixed by a lock 15 symbolically shown here. The holding section 10-2, for its part, is an integral component of a closing bar section 10-4 on the loading floor and of a rear closing bar section 10-6 of the closing bar 10, viewed from the left in the figure.

Finally, in the rear area H there is a partially shown adjustable loading floor 20 which rests with its rear end on a loading sill panel 25 . In this area, the loading floor 20 has a receptacle 30 into which a latching means 35 engages.

The latching means 35 itself has, viewed from right to left in the figure, a latching section 35-2 on the loading floor located in the receptacle 30, a contact section 35-4 remote therefrom, an opening 35-5, a rear latching section 35-6 and an end section 35-8 on.

When the tailgate 5 is closed, as shown in the figure, the locking bar section 10 - 2 on the loading floor side rests against the contact section 35 - 4 of the latching means 35 . Since the lock 10 fixes the holding section 10-2, the loading floor 20 is thus secured against unintentional adjustment when the tailgate 5 is closed.

When the tailgate 5 is opened, the lock 15 opens and the holding section 10-2 is released. Together with the tailgate 5, the striker 10 pivots clockwise about a virtual axis parallel to the y-axis, so that an arcuate section 10-8 located on the rear striker section 10-6 comes to rest against the rear latching section 35-6. The latching means 35, in particular its end section 35-8, is displaceably mounted in the x-direction in a guide means 40 consisting of two plates which are spaced essentially parallel to one another and extend in a plane parallel to the x-y plane. During the aforementioned pivoting movement, the striker 10, specifically its arcuate section 10-8 and the holding section 10-2, moves against the latching section 35-6 and, due to the contact, moves the latching means 35 until the end section 35-2 on the loading floor is out of the receptacle 30 of the loading floor 20 is removed. In this case, the closing bracket section 10-4 on the loading floor is not in contact with the contact section 35-4.

On the other hand, when the tailgate 5 is closed again, during which the striker 10 rotates counterclockwise about the aforementioned pivot axis, the striker section 10-4 on the loading floor comes into contact with the contact section 35-4 and moves it until the end section 35-2 on the loading floor is recorded in the recording 30.

A loading sill opening 45 is provided in the loading sill cover 25 for the purpose of a trouble-free movement of the locking means 35 . This can optionally also be provided with guide means, not shown here, in order to support the linear movement of the latching means 35 described above. In addition, the end section 35-2 of the latching means 35 is rounded, and the receptacle 30, viewed in cross section, has a shape that tapers from the striker 10 in the direction of the loading floor 20, thereby enabling the latching means 35 to be guided reliably into the receptacle 30.

As can be seen from the figure, the striker 10 partially enters the opening 35 - 5 when the tailgate 5 is closing and when it is opening it leaves it. This enables a comparatively low overall height in the z-direction.

Motor vehicle (1) after claim 1 , characterized in that the striker (10) in the closed position of the tailgate (5) is non-positively and/or positively connected to the loading floor (20). Motor vehicle (1) after claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the loading floor (20) has a receptacle (30) in which engages a locking bar-actuated latching means (35).
