Description
The invention relates to an electric drive system for a vehicle with at least one electric drive machine which is set up to convert electric power into kinetic energy; and at least one of the power electronics associated with the electric drive machine, which is set up to detect a requested drive torque and to control a supply of electric power at least as a function of the requested drive torque.

In a fuel cell vehicle, electricity is generated by a fuel cell system and converted into kinetic energy by means of an electric drive machine or stored in a high-voltage battery cell system. During the operation of such a fuel cell vehicle, driving situations can arise in which the electric drive machine has to reduce a drive torque very quickly (for example on a slippery road or when the accelerator pedal is released quickly) in order to ensure sufficient driving stability. This very rapid reduction in the drive torque leads to a very rapid reduction in an electric current in power electronics associated with the electric drive machine.
If the fuel cell system cannot be turned down just as quickly, then this electricity must be temporarily stored in the high-voltage battery cell system for a short time. This in turn means that the high-voltage battery cell system must be dimensioned in such a way that it can withstand high electrical currents. The fuel cell system can also be designed in such a way that it can be regulated down very quickly. In both cases, however, these requirements for the respective systems lead to increased costs.
The object on which the invention is based is seen as providing an electric drive system for a vehicle that optimally implements a very rapid reduction in drive torque without additionally loading a high-voltage battery cell system in the vehicle and/or a fuel cell system in the vehicle.
This object is achieved by an electric drive system for a vehicle having the features of patent claim 1 and by a method having the features of claim 6. Advantageous configurations with expedient developments are specified in the dependent patent claims.
An electric drive system for a vehicle with at least one electric drive machine, which is set up to convert electric current into kinetic energy, is therefore proposed; and at least one of the power electronics associated with the electric drive machine, which is set up to detect a requested drive torque and to control a supply of electric power at least as a function of the requested drive torque. It is provided that the power electronics is also set up to influence the current flow when the drive torque drops in such a way that the efficiency of the power electronics and/or the efficiency of the electric drive machine is reduced.
The additional electric current that occurs when the drive torque decreases is consumed by the power electronics and/or the electric drive machine, for example converted into heat. In other words, by influencing the current flow in such a way that the power electronics and/or the electric drive motor is supplied with this additional electric current, it does not have to be temporarily stored in a high-voltage battery cell system of the vehicle. Likewise, rapid ramping down of a fuel cell system of the vehicle is not necessary. This in turn means that the demands on the high-voltage battery cell system in terms of current absorption capacity and/or on the fuel cell system in terms of responsiveness can be reduced and costs can be saved.
The electric drive system can also have at least one fuel cell system that generates electricity.
Likewise, the electrical drive system can have at least one high-voltage battery cell system that stores and provides electrical power. In this case, the power electronics can also influence the current flow in the event of a drop in the drive torque as a function of a charging current assigned to the high-voltage battery cell system senior For example, a power level reduction is useful when the high-voltage battery cell system has a reduced maximum charging current, ie, when it is cold and/or relatively full, and therefore the absorption of the additional electric current represents an additional burden. In this way, the reduction in efficiency can be controlled as required.
The electric drive system can also have a fuel cell converter, which provides the electric current generated by the at least one fuel cell system to the at least one high-voltage battery cell system and/or the at least one power electronics system and/or the at least one electric drive machine.
The power electronics can also have a control unit that briefly increases the flow of current into the power electronics and/or into the electric drive machine when the drive torque decreases. As described above, increasing the current flow can reduce the additional current that the high-voltage battery cell system would have to temporarily store. Furthermore, an abrupt current interruption can be avoided, so that the current reduction in the power electronics can be flatter overall over a corresponding period of time without the driving behavior being influenced.
The above object is also achieved by a method for controlling the electric drive system for a vehicle described above. The procedure includes the following steps.
Erfassen eines geforderten Antriebsmoments durch die Leistungselektronik.Detection of a required drive torque by the power electronics.
At least as a function of the detected required drive torque, the power electronics control the supply of electric current, with a drop in drive torque influencing the current flow in such a way that the efficiency of the power electronics and/or the efficiency of the electric drive machine is reduced.
Depending on a current driving situation, i. H. the required drive torque, the supply of electric power is controlled, with a reduction in the drive torque (for example, in the event of an abrupt accelerator pedal release), there is a reduction in efficiency, so that excess power can be dissipated and consumed.
The electric drive system can also have the at least one fuel cell system, the at least one high-voltage battery cell system, and the fuel cell converter.
The flow of current into the power electronics and/or into the electric drive machine can be briefly increased when the drive torque drops.

The
When the drive torque drops, the
For example, during operation of the
Because the
