Abstract

The invention relates to packaging for a snack, in particular a doner kebab, in the form of a bag (1), which assumes a folded state for the preparation of the snack and can be transformed from the folded state into an unfolded state for the packaging of the snack, the Bag (1) has a front part (2) and a back part (3) with a flap (4), which form a pocket (10) which can be closed by means of the flap (4). Description

The invention relates to packaging for a snack, in particular a doner kebab, in the form of a bag.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A doner kebab, or “döner” for short, is a Turkish snack developed in Germany, in which a mixture of grilled meat and other ingredients, such as vegetables or salad, is served together with a yoghurt sauce in a flatbread. For on-site consumption, doner kebabs are commonly offered in paper bags that are open on one side. Doner kebabs are usually wrapped in aluminum foil to take away. This is relatively cumbersome and time-consuming. In addition, aluminum packaging is not a particularly resource-saving type of packaging due to its energy-intensive production.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide packaging for a snack which is suitable both for confectioning and for packaging the snack.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features specified in the independent claims. Further embodiments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims.

According to the invention, packaging for a snack, in particular for a doner kebab, is proposed in the form of a bag which assumes a folded state for the preparation of the snack and is transformed from the folded state into an unfolded state for the packaging of the snack. The bag according to the invention comprises a front part and a back part with a flap. The front part and the back part are connected to each other and form a pocket that can be closed with the flap. For the preparation of the snack, the bag is in a folded state. After the completion of the snack, the bag is unfolded, the snack is pushed into the bag and the bag is then closed by means of the flap.

The folded state of the bag is characterized in that a section of the bag is folded over along a folded edge, so that the bag volume is reduced. The folded edge preferably runs in a transverse direction of the bag. In addition, the two corners at the ends of the folded edge are folded inwards like “dog ears”. The folding creates a bag with a reduced volume in which the snack can be conveniently packed. After the snack is finished, the bag is unfolded and thus regains its original volume. The snack is then pushed into the bag and the bag is closed with the flap.

The above folded portion is preferably a bottom portion of the bag. It can be folded either forwards or backwards. According to a preferred embodiment, the section is folded back. In a preferred embodiment, the section is folded over 180 degrees and points towards the tab.

The two corners of the folded edge can also be folded forwards or backwards. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the two corners are folded in the opposite direction as the end portion of the bag. In an embodiment where the end portion is folded back, the corners are preferably folded forward. When the bag is in the folded state, the two corners are preferably folded over by 180 degrees.

The bag according to the invention is preferably formed in a rectangular or rectangular shape. The depth of the pocket corresponds to a longitudinal direction of the bag. The folded edge preferably runs in the transverse direction.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, the folded edge lies approximately in the middle of the depth of the pocket. Depending on the length of the bag, the position of the folded edge can also deviate from the middle of the bag and, for example, be closer to the flap or closer to the bottom of the bag.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the corners are folded over in such a way that one of their edges is approximately level with the pocket opening.

The front part and the back part of the bag each have an inside facing the other part. The inner sides of the two parts are preferably glued together in an edge area.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the front part and the back part have the same width in the transverse direction.

It is not absolutely necessary to provide a side fold or the like in order to create a larger volume of the bag. Rather, it is sufficient if the front part and the The back parts lie flat on top of each other and are connected to each other at the side area.

The front and back portions of the bag are preferably made of a laminated material such as paper. The entire bag is preferably made of paper.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, an adhesive can also be provided for closing the pocket. For example, an adhesive can be provided on the tab and/or in the area of the pocket.

Suitable adhesives can be, for example, adhesive dots, adhesive strips or other adhesives known from the prior art.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, the bag can have beveled corners at the bottom. The bag is thus narrowed in the bottom area, which means that the doner kebab is better fixed when it is packed in the bag.

The present invention also relates to the use of a bag-shaped packaging for packaging a snack, in particular a doner kebab, which is designed as described above. The bag is converted between a folded condition in which the snack is packaged and an unfolded condition in which the snack is packaged for take-out.

The bag 1 comprises a front part 2 and a back part 3 with a flap 4, which is used to close the bag 1. The front part 2 and back part 3 are glued together at their edge areas 11 . The bag 1 is preferably made of paper.

In the embodiment of the bag 1 shown here, the front part 2 and the back part 3 lie flat on top of each other and are each glued to the other part on their inner sides in the edge area 11 . In a somewhat more complex embodiment of the bag 1, a bellows could also be provided on the long sides L1 of the bag 1, or the parts 2, 3 can be cut in such a way that the volume is larger than in the case of the 1 illustrated, flat embodiment.

Viewed from above, the bag has a substantially rectangular shape with a long side L1 and a short side L2. The length of the long side L1 is preferably greater than the length of the short side L2.

The dimension of the front part 2 in the transverse direction is preferably the same as the dimension of the back part (before gluing). The length of the front part 2 is preferably shorter than the length of the back part 3. The protruding part of the back part 3 forms a flap 4, which is used to close the bag 1.

In this embodiment, the bag 1 further comprises an adhesive 13 enabling the tab 4 to be attached to the bag 10 externally. Said adhesive means 13 can be, for example, an adhesive dot or an adhesive strip. Other fastening means known from the prior art can also be used.
