The inventors have recognized that integrated lighting that illuminates the floor area around the table base increases attention to tripping points without significantly negatively affecting the overall lighting of an event equipped with such a high table. Because the illumination of the floor area can be dimensioned in such a way that hardly any effects are achieved by the lighting in the zone near or above the table top, which is approximately at eye level with the visitors. Nevertheless, such an illumination of the floor area around the table leg leads to the fact that the risk of tripping caused by the table leg or other things on the floor is reduced.

The term “integrated” is primarily understood to mean that the lighting device is arranged in or on the high table, in particular its components table top, support structure and table base, and is firmly connected to it. Separate floor lamps or table lamps that can be placed practically independently of the high table should not be included. Integrated preferably also means that tool-free loosening is not possible.
