Abstract

STATE OF THE ART

The Christian culture knows different types of burials. In addition to the widespread burial of the earth, in which a body in a coffin is drained into a grave, cremation is the second most common type. At cremation, the deceased is cremated in a crematorium and then buried in an urn. The urn mourning ceremony ends when the urn is admitted into the ground or in an urn chamber that is part of a columbarium. There are different types of columbaria.

A columbarium can be located in closed rooms or in the open air. How the columbarium is built depends on the local regulations of the cemetery. Furthermore, the urn niches can have a wide variety of sizes and shapes. After the urn burial, the niche is sealed with a plate. Comparable to a conventional tombstone, this plate also bears the name and the data on the deceased. The cover plate is usually made of stone. Some columbaria allow the urn niche to be sealed with other materials. Sometimes glass or just a grid is used for this, so that the decorated urn always remains visible. Thus the columbarium is a respectful place of mourning. The best known forms of columbaria are urn walls. After the actual funeral service, the urn is carried to the urn wall and placed there in an urn chamber. In the DE 10 2015 007 432 A1 describes a tensioning frame for temporarily attaching a curtain to an opening in an urn chamber. Although this gives the urn wall a different appearance from the rest of the surroundings, it does not correspond to every idea of an appropriate design. It is also not possible to store or attach floral decorations in the known devices.

TASK

The present invention is based on the object of eliminating the disadvantages of the prior art and of providing options for an individual design of an urn chamber.

This object is achieved by an arrangement according to the proposed claim 1.

Further advantageous details and refinements of the invention as well as further developments and variants can be seen from the subclaims and the drawing explained below.

ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

According to the invention, an arrangement for the temporary design of an urn chamber integrated in a columbarium is proposed.

The arrangement according to the invention is distinguished by a decorative chamber which can be inserted into the urn chamber and has a front frame.

It is achieved by the invention that the actual urn chamber can be designed individually for the time of burial, without the columbarium having to be structurally changed.

It is preferably provided that the decorative chamber is a housing which is open at the front and the housing walls of which can be individually designed on the inside. While the urn chamber of the columbarium as well as the entire urn wall are usually made of concrete, the arrangement can create a background appropriate to the deceased and the feelings of the bereaved.

This can be done, for example, by means of a decorative fabric covering the inner walls, or else by means of front walls, which are designed with a picture motif.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that lighting is arranged in the decorative chamber. This grants a wide variety of possibilities to create a certain atmosphere with light. This ranges from lighting the urn used in a certain beam angle to dimmed light. There is also the possibility of a subtle play of light here.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the frame has at least one receptacle for flower arrangements or candles. This allows the decor chamber to be surrounded by selected arrangements. This can be supplemented by a front-facing and horizontally aligned console in front of the frame, on which floral decorations, candles or other decorative parts are also placed. There is also the option of one or more jewelry hooks on the console to hang a wreath or individual funeral bows.

It is preferably provided that the decorative chamber and / or the frame and / or the console are made of plastic. This also applies to other decor additions. Plastic allows almost all color designs by adding color pigments during manufacture.

Likewise, a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the decorative chamber and / or the frame and / or the console are made of metal. The metal material in particular allows structural embossing, which can also be produced by forging.

Colored designs can be created by painting, which find a very good base layer on metal or plastic.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the arrangement has a tier arranged below the console and / or the window frame. This allows you to remove flower bowls or wreaths.
