The transition from the magazine to the outside of the bundle collector and to the stripper forms a critical section of the bundle separator because it is to be excluded that individual bristles that are moved towards the stripper at the transition from the recess to the magazine get caught in this transition region and become wedged .

To avoid this, it has been considered advantageous in the prior art to actually position the stripper in the region of its magazine-side end, where it separates the bristles located outside the section from the bristles located in the recess, as a pointed corner, in some cases even as knife-like pointed corner, which should nestle as close as possible to the outside of the bundle collector in order to achieve the smallest possible gap here. Such wipers are subject to wear in order to be able to maintain their functionality permanently. In addition, it requires a lot of know-how and manual skill to make the pointed corner sufficiently sharp, but not razor-sharp.

The object of the invention is to improve a bundle separator according to the prior art in such a way that it has a high level of functional reliability and is characterized by lower wear.

This is achieved in the case of a bundle separator of the type mentioned at the outset in that the stripper is blunt at its end on the magazine side, which is adjacent to the outside, and the bundle pickup on the rear section has a pickup extension projecting radially beyond the radius of the front section, with that at the end the bristles of the stripper are pressed back into their associated bristle magazine.

The present invention takes a diametrically different approach than in the prior art, since the end of the magazine, with which the bristles in the recess are separated from the bristles in the bristle magazine, is not tapered, but is blunt. This would normally mean that bundles always remain in the resulting gusset between the end and the outside of the segment of a circle. Bristles would increasingly press into this gusset if the bundle collector was moved back and forth several times. In the invention, however, these bristles located in the aforementioned gusset are pressed out by a pick-up extension while the bundle pick-up is still moving forwards and into the magazine. The customer extension does this because it projects further outwards than the front section, the outside of which forms a segment of a circle.

When viewed from above, the customer extension runs in a constant curvature, which means that there is no shoulder or step on which bristles could get caught.

Between the recess and the beginning of the customer extension there is optionally a short intermediate section on the bundle collector, in which the outside is in the form of a segment of a circle and is provided with the same radius as in the front section. This ensures that the recess has first been moved a little along the complementary counter surface before the bristles can be pushed back out of the aforementioned gusset.

The customer extension preferably runs offset to the stripper in the axial direction, which is defined by the pivot axis. The pick-up extension thus does not come into collision with the counter surface, but can also move along the counter surface, that is to say along the top and / or along the underside of the stripper, during the movement. When the bundle collector is pivoted, the collector extension thus grips over or under the stripper.

The customer extension can only be present on one side of the scraper, or two customer extensions can be provided, so that the bundle customer has a U-shaped cross section in the region of the customer extensions. The scraper is then picked up between the legs of the "U" when the bundle collector has been pivoted far enough.

The customer extension should protrude radially outwards so far that when it reaches the blunt end on the magazine side when swiveled, it completely covers the end when viewed from above. This ensures that the aforementioned gusset is no longer present and is closed by the customer extension (s). All material in the gusset, that is, all the bristles located therein, are thereby pushed back into the magazine.

The customer extension can be a separate part which is attached to a plate-shaped base body of the bundle customer. The front section, preferably also the recess, is formed on this base body. The customer extension is then applied to the top or the bottom of the base body. As an alternative to this, the customer extension or the customer extensions can be an integral part of the base body.

If there are two customer extensions, one can lie as a separate part on the top of the base body and be fastened there, and a separate part, which forms the other customer extension, can be present on the underside of the base body. Seen from above, the two customer extensions should have the same outer contour, at least in the area in which they travel along the magazine.

The bundle separator according to the invention shows its advantages not only in the case of a single magazine, but also in the case of several magazines arranged next to one another. In this case it is particularly important that no bristles remain in the gusset mentioned above. Because if z. B. is first removed from a magazine and then this magazine is moved away and another is added, it could be that bristles with a different property remained in the gusset, which could then get into the recess and would cause rejects. Thus, according to one embodiment of the invention, a plurality of magazines are arranged side by side, which can be moved laterally relative to the stripper, so that the bundle collector can remove bristles from a plurality of magazines.

The stripper preferably at least partially closes the removal opening of at least one magazine. The aforementioned blunt end protrudes in front of the open side of at least one magazine in order to partially close it. If there are several magazines, the scraper can also close a magazine that is not in operation, which is adjacent to the bristle magazine that is currently open for removal.

The scraper is in particular plate-shaped.

A further embodiment of the invention provides that the scraper becomes increasingly narrower towards the end of the scraper on the magazine side and is defined on the one hand by the complementary counter surface and on the other hand by an oppositely directed boundary surface which faces away from the bundle consumer and preferably faces an adjacent magazine. This means that the scraper tapered towards the end of the magazine, but the end was blunt.

The end face which defines this end on the wiper preferably extends at 80 ° -100 ° to a tangent to the counter surface at the transition from the counter surface to the end surface.
