Abstract

The invention relates to a drawer (12), a piece of furniture and a method for opening a drawer (12). The drawer (12) enables the drawer body (26) to be displaced vertically in a simple manner. The drawer (12) can be used in the context of a sink base cabinet, whereby it can preferably be arranged in front of a siphon without the storage space being lost under the siphon. Description

The present invention relates to a drawer according to the preamble of claim 1, a piece of furniture according to the preamble of claim 12 and a method for opening a drawer according to the preamble of claim 14.

Drawers are mostly parts of furniture that can be closed or locked. This means that items can be stored in drawers that are to be removed from direct access or sight, which is usually associated with protection against incidence of light and dirt.

Such drawers can be arranged in all vertical heights, which ultimately only depends on the shape and dimensions of the corresponding piece of furniture. In addition to ordinary cupboards, which can also be in the form of wall units, such pieces of furniture also include shelves, sideboards, chests of drawers and the like, both standing and hanging pieces of furniture being possible.

Since such drawers can be arranged at any height, they should be vertically displaceable so that they can be easily viewed and filled or emptied. This is from the EP 3 066 959 B1 a drawer is already known which carries out a coupled movement in such a way that first the drawer is completely pulled out and then a lifting movement takes place. However, the disadvantage of this solution is the relatively complex structure and the necessary motorization.

There are numerous drawers, especially in the kitchen area, which are very practical because they can be used to store many everyday items at any time. One tries to use as much space as possible in the kitchen furniture, which is why there are corner cupboards, for example, whose floors can be swung out so that the things stored on them can be optimally accessed.

A special feature are sink cabinets that are designed to hold a sink, for example a sink. This sink is connected to a drain via a siphon as an odor trap, which is why there must be sufficient space in such a sink cabinet. However, this severely limits the usability of the sink cabinet.

Pull-out systems for waste and the like have already been developed for the sink cabinet. For example, from the EP 3 326 490 A1 already known a solution in which a front panel of the sink base cabinet is pulled out and a drawer that is vertically movable on the front panel is raised when it is pulled out. A disadvantage of this solution is again the complex structure and that a lot of space is also wasted because these pull-out systems cannot be arranged in the area in front of the siphon.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a drawer which enables vertical displacement in a simple manner. This drawer should preferably be usable in the context of a sink base cabinet, and it can be arranged in particular in front of a siphon.

This object is achieved with the drawer according to the invention according to claim 1, the piece of furniture according to the invention according to claim 12 and the method according to the invention according to claim 14. Advantageous further developments are specified in the subclaims and in the following description together with the figures.

It was recognized by the invention that this object can be achieved in a surprisingly simple manner in that one of the drawer bodies is arranged on a swivel element, that the drawer body is shifted from a vertically first level to a vertically second level. As a result, the drawer mechanism can be kept particularly compact and simple, so that the drawer can also be arranged in front of a siphon and still use the space under the siphon.

The drawer according to the invention with a drawer body, the drawer having a pull-out device which is adapted to displace the drawer body in the horizontal direction and a lifting device which is adapted to move the drawer body in the vertical direction from a vertical first level to a vertical second level relocate, is characterized in that there is a guide with at least one swivel element which displaces the drawer body vertically.
