The invention relates to a method for determining an oscillation of a micromirror element of a micromirror arrangement for an optoelectronic sensor. It is known that, for example, laser scanners use a pulsed laser beam, which is evaluated according to the so-called time-of-flight principle (TOF). In order to scan an environment, for example of a motor vehicle, that is to say in particular to detect it, this laser beam is deflected. The laser beam can be deflected in particular by means of an oscillating mirror, in particular by means of an MEMS oscillating mirror (Micro Electronic Mechanical System). The laser beams are pulsed with a certain resolution in a certain angular range. The pulses are thus distributed in particular over the predetermined angular range. Since the positions of the MEMS mirror can only be measured in the area of a so-called comb structure, it is a problem to ensure in which function the MEMS oscillating mirror actually oscillates, because these can be different due to the different influencing factors.

The object of the present invention is to create a method, an electronic computing device, a micromirror arrangement and an optoelectronic sensor, by means of which a more precise emission of a laser beam is made possible.
This object is achieved by a method, an electronic computing device, a micromirror arrangement and an optoelectronic sensor according to the independent patent claims.
One aspect of the invention relates to a method for determining a vibration of a micromirror element of a micromirror arrangement for an optoelectronic sensor. In the method, the micromirror element is set into mechanical oscillation by excitation with an excitation signal and the mechanical oscillation is recorded by means of a detection device.
It is provided that a sound signal generated by the mechanical vibration of the micromirror element is detected by means of a detection device designed as a sound detection device and the vibration of the micromirror element is determined by means of the detected sound signal.
The detection of the sound signal, which is emitted by the micromirror element on the basis of the mechanical oscillation, makes it possible precisely to currently detect the mechanical oscillation of the micromirror element. This allows the exact position of the micromirror element to be detected. In particular, the precise detection of the position and the precise detection of the mechanical vibration on the basis of the sound measurement make it possible for the mechanical vibration to be reliably detected both in terms of its frequency and its amplitude can be. In particular, the measurement of the frequency and the amplitude can then be used to draw conclusions about the functionality of the micromirror arrangement. This enables the current vibration of the micromirror element to be precisely determined.
The micromirror element can preferably be controlled via pulse width modulation as an excitation signal from an electronic computing device, for example from an optoelectronic sensor, and is controlled in particular between the zero position and the comb position. The level of the pulse width modulation amplitude determines the level of the deflection, that is, the amplitude of the mirror oscillation. If the micromirror element is overdriven with a pulse width modulation that is too high, the amplitude of the mechanical oscillation will eventually be limited and the micromirror element can even be mechanically destroyed. The method according to the invention makes it possible for the mechanical vibration of the micromirror element to be reliably determined, so that the micromirror element can be prevented from entering the vibration limitation, thereby preventing mechanical impairment, in particular destruction of the micromirror element.
The method according to the invention makes particular use of the fact that the mechanical vibrations of the micromirror element also emit energy as sound. By means of this sound signal detection, in particular by means of this sound signal measurement, it is possible that the physical properties of the mechanical oscillation of the micromirror element can be detected and evaluated reliably and in particular without contact.
In particular, it can be provided that the mechanical vibration is determined during an operating state of the optoelectronic sensor. This means in particular that the micromirror element vibrates with at least one predetermined frequency, in which case in particular the non-linear part of the oscillation, which in particular is essentially sinusoidal, can be determined as the harmonic of the sine oscillation. In particular, the purpose of the mechanical vibration is not to determine whether the optoelectronic sensor, in particular the micromirror element, is vibrating, but rather to check the detailed vibration, which allows conclusions to be drawn about the functionality of the micromirror arrangement.
The optoelectronic sensor is designed in particular as a lidar sensor or as a laser scanner.
In particular, it can be provided in the method according to the invention that the mechanical vibration of the micromirror element is checked at the end of production using a separate sound measuring device with the respective sound detection device. It can further be provided that the integration of the sound detection device in the optoelectronic sensor and / or the micromirror arrangement can be implemented. In particular, this enables the mechanical vibration of the micromirror element to be checked in normal operation, for example in driving operation, of the motor vehicle.
It has also proven to be advantageous if the Excitation signal is adapted to excite the micromirror element. In other words, by determining the distortion factor, it can be determined how much the current mechanical vibration of the micromirror element deviates from a desired vibration of the micromirror element, in particular with regard to the non-linear part of the vibration of the micromirror element. The excitation signal can then be adapted accordingly by determining the distortion factor, so that the micromirror element vibrates with the desired vibration. This enables improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.
In a further advantageous embodiment, an excitation voltage of the excitation signal is adapted as a function of the determined harmonic distortion to excite the micromirror element. By adapting the excitation voltage, it is thus possible for the micromirror element to oscillate with the desired vibration. In particular, by adapting the excitation voltage, the deviation of the current mechanical vibration from the target vibration of the micromirror element can be compensated. As a result, the desired vibration of the micromirror element can be achieved easily and reliably. This enables improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.
It has also proven to be advantageous if, when a distortion factor threshold value is exceeded by the determined distortion factor, the excitation signal is adapted to excite the micromirror element. In other words, it is possible that only slight deviations of the current mechanical oscillation from the target oscillation are disregarded and therefore no adjustment of the excitation signal is carried out accordingly. Only when the determined harmonic distortion exceeds a harmonic distortion threshold value is the excitation signal adapted accordingly, so that the current mechanical vibration of the micromirror element is converted into the desired vibration accordingly. This can prevent the excitation signal from being changed in the event of small deviations. In particular, the harmonic distortion threshold value can be specified, for example, so that the excitation signal can be adapted accordingly, for example, in the event of a deviation of 1 percent in the mechanical oscillation from the nominal oscillation of the micromirror element. This enables precise and improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the sound signal generated by the micromirror element is recorded piezoelectrically by means of the sound detection device. For example, the sound detection device can be provided as a microphone. In the case of microphones in particular, it is provided that the sound is recorded piezoelectrically. In other words, the movement of a membrane of the microphone, which converts the sound waves into a mechanical vibration, is converted into an electrical signal by means of a piezoelectric element, which in turn can then be reliably evaluated. This enables a precise and reliable measurement of the sound signal. This enables precise and reliable operation of the micromirror arrangement.
It is also advantageous if the excitation signal is transmitted to a comb structure at an excitation device of the micromirror arrangement and the micromirror element is excited to mechanically oscillate by means of the comb structure. In other words, the micromirror arrangement has the excitation device, which is designed as a comb structure. The comb structure in turn can have a first comb structure part and a second comb structure part, which shift relative to one another by actuation with the excitation signal. In particular, this shift can be detected, for example, by a capacitive measurement of the comb structure. This enables the excitation signal to be generated precisely. This enables improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the micromirror element is essentially excited to vibrate with a resonance frequency and a resonance amplitude by means of the excitation signal. In particular, the micromirror element has a corresponding resonance frequency with a corresponding resonance amplitude. In particular, the micromirror element is then controlled in such a way that the micromirror element is brought into the respective resonance frequency and resonance amplitude. In particular, for example, the comb structure is acted upon by the corresponding excitation signal in order to vibrate the micromirror element in the resonance frequency and the resonance amplitude. Particularly in resonance mode, the micromirror arrangement can be operated with reduced expenditure and with reduced energy. For this purpose, in particular a start-up can be carried out with a lower excitation signal, so that the comb structure cannot be overloaded. In particular in the resonance frequency and in the resonance amplitude, the micromirror element has advantageous physical properties in order to be able to reliably deflect the laser beam. This enables a precise transmission of the laser beam.
Furthermore, it has proven to be advantageous if the micromirror element is provided in this way is that the resonance frequency is essentially in the range of 2 kilohertz. In the frequency range of 2 kilohertz in particular, it has been found that the laser beams can advantageously be emitted into the environment. This enables a reliable detection of the surroundings. This also enables precise detection of the surroundings. In particular, it is then provided that the sound detection device is designed as a high-frequency microphone, which is also referred to as a high-frequency microphone (HiFi microphone). For example, the microphone can record ten times the bandwidth around the frequency range of 2 kilohertz.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the sound detection device detects a sound signal in a predeterminable frequency range + / Δf around a resonance frequency of the micromirror element and / or around a predeterminable amplitude range +/- ΔA around a resonance amplitude of the micromirror element. In other words, only a selected frequency range and a selected amplitude range around the resonance frequency or resonance amplitude are detected by means of the sound detection device. As a result, the frequency range around +/- Δf and +/- ΔA can be precisely recorded by means of the sound detection device. As a result, the sound detection device has a more precise detection range with regard to the resonance frequency and the resonance amplitude. In particular, since the vibrations move around the resonance frequency or around the resonance amplitude, it is therefore advantageous to have an increased resolution here, so that the distortion factor can be determined precisely.
In a further advantageous embodiment, a sound volume and / or a sound frequency and / or a sound curve shape of the recorded sound signal is determined. This enables the physical properties of the sound signal to be recorded reliably. The physical properties of the sound signal allow precise conclusions to be drawn about the mechanical vibration property of the micromirror element. In other words, the mechanical vibration function of the micromirror element can be used on the basis of the physical properties of the sound. The mechanical vibration of the micromirror element can thereby be precisely determined. This leads to improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.
It is also advantageous if sound signals that are independent of the mechanical vibration are filtered out by means of a filter device of the electronic computing device. For this purpose, the electronic computing device can have corresponding electronic components, which can filter out the sound signals that are independent of the mechanical vibration. This enables only the sound signals that are caused by the mechanical oscillation of the micromirror element to be evaluated. This can be used, for example, to filter out disturbances in the environment. This leads to an improved operation of the micromirror arrangement.

Another aspect of the invention relates to an electronic computing device which is designed to carry out the method according to the preceding aspect or an advantageous embodiment thereof.
