Abstract

Description

The invention relates to an ash container according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

An ash container of the type mentioned is from the patent document DE 10 2015 103 009 A1 known. This consists of an ash pan with a first closable opening for supplying ash in the ash pan and with a second, closable with a lid member opening for discharging the ash from the ash pan. This ash container, which, like the ash container according to the invention to be described below, is used in particular for solid fuel boilers, has proven itself in the best way.

The invention has for its object to further improve this ash container. In particular, the handling of this ash container to be further simplified.

This object is achieved with an ash box of the type mentioned by the features listed in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

According to the invention, it is thus provided that the ash box can be connected to an additional ash box, which also has an inlet and outlet opening for ash, and the lid element is also designed to close the discharge opening of the additional ash box.

In other words, the solution according to the invention thus characterized by the fact that the ash container is ultimately made of at least two (but it can also be more than two) individual, interconnectable boxes, the opening of which are designed to close off the ash with a common lid. This design has the particular advantage that depending on the situation, either a common handling of both boxes (for example, when introduced into or pulling out of a solid fuel boiler) or even handling of the individual boxes (for example, when emptying) is possible.

The use of only a single, common cover has the further advantage that only one of the closure of the lid during operation of the solid fuel boiler must be provided ensuring monitoring device.

In addition, the solution according to the invention has the advantage that different ash boxes and cover elements can be kept available for differently high-performance solid fuel boilers and then combined with each other as needed, ie. H. the solution according to the invention leads to a modular concept.

For the sake of completeness, it is pointed out that at least at the time of registration by the company HDG Bavaria GmbH a solid fuel boiler with two mobile ash containers is offered. However, these are not connected to each other and also each have their own cover element.
