Abstract
The device is used to rescue people from high-rise buildings and high buildings in case of fire and disasters, where the maximum reach of firefighters and similar devices is exceeded. On the basis of well-known parachutes designs have been developed for such cases, but where there is a risk that at relatively low bounce heights, the screen opens too late, only partially or not at all. On the negative side, there is a very high level of mental inhibition, because the person leaving the danger spot with the unopened umbrella is virtually lost.
These problems are solved by the device. To rescue people in the above-mentioned danger cases is an at least double-walled parachute or parachute (Fig. 2, Pos. 3), the intermediate space (7) is filled with light gas. The filling from a pressure vessel with light gas (8) is triggered by a start button (10) and is controlled by means of an automatic control valve (9). After the completion of the filling process, the screen has an upwardly directed curvature, similar in shape to known parachutes and having a similar carrying capacity like this. By filling with light gas there is a buoyancy of the screen of a few kN so that the screen (3), connected by the tethers (11) with the person to be rescued (1), is in a limbo. The person to be rescued (1), for these visibly and tangibly connected to the open and above her floating screen (3), now jumps into the open (in the rescue zone) and slides with the screen (3) down.
Description
Technische Aufgabe und ZielsetzungTechnical task and objective
The device is used to rescue people from high-rise buildings and high buildings in case of fire and disasters, where the maximum reach of firefighters and similar devices is exceeded. On the basis of well-known parachutes versions have been developed that can be used in case of fire, but with these there is a risk that at relatively low jump heights, the screen opens too late, only partially or not at all. There is also a very large psychic inhibition threshold in such umbrellas, because the jump of the rescuing person from the point of danger with unopened screen is virtually in the void. The solution described eliminates these disadvantages.
