Abstract

The invention relates to a socket, in particular for mobile devices, which have a socket and which can be used for differently standardized plug. Most of these are mobile devices that generate or distribute electricity, e.g. Generators, cable drums and mobile walls. The object of the invention is to provide a socket, which can be adapted worldwide with little effort to different types of plugs and which is inexpensive to manufacture and storable. In today's practice, mobile devices are often manufactured inexpensively in one country, imported into a country by an importer or client, where they may be completed and then distributed back to different countries.

Mobile devices from which power is to be removed or distributed are limited to certain regions due to the type of socket installed. By using plug adapters, additional non-device components are added to the device, which can affect the integrity of the device, such as lack of splash protection, vibration or increase in resistance. All the aforementioned plugs or adapters are not suitable for use in mobile devices that generate or distribute electricity.

The object of the invention is to provide a socket for mobile devices that generate or distribute electricity, which can be adapted worldwide with little effort to different types of connectors. In particular, the production of a mobile device should not be adversely affected by different socket variants, but the manufacturer should be able to mount the device completely. The socket should be inexpensive to manufacture and storable for different connector types. An exchange of the socket type should also be possible by end customers. Required repairs should be possible in a cost and time saving way.

According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Ausgestaltende features are specified in the dependent claims.

The socket for use in mobile devices for differently standardized plug has a base body and at least one replaceable adapter piece. The base body can be installed in a mobile device by means of suitable fastening means. As a fastener of the body on the mobile device can serve a screw, for example, at the four corners of the body. The shape of the plug contacts can be flat or round. It is particularly advantageous for the production when all three plug contacts have approximately the same shape. In any case, it must be ensured that the plug contacts fit into the three plug openings of the main body, which therefore have to have approximately the same shape.

The receptacle contacts are electrically connected to a plug contact and the receiving contact for a protective conductor with the plug contact for the protective conductor. Preferably, the receiving contacts are formed so that they serve as a metal bridge to the plug contacts or vice versa, the plug contacts are formed so that they form an electrical connection to the receiving contacts.

An important feature of the present invention is that the plug contacts can be plugged through the plug openings and detachably connected to two terminals and that the plug contact for the protective conductor can be plugged through the plug opening for the protective conductor and detachably connected to the terminal contact for the protective conductor. The connection contacts and the connection contact for the protective conductor are attached to the back of the main body.

In a preferred embodiment, the terminal contacts are designed as terminal contacts and adapted to receive the plug contacts inserted.

A device connection cable can then be connected to the connection contact and a device connection protection cable can be connected to the connection contact for the protective conductor.

The adapter piece can be fastened to the base body. A preferred embodiment is that the adapter piece on the base body by means of a screw can be fastened, which is screwed through a hole on the adapter piece directly to the base body or behind the body with a lock nut.

Other mounting options are that the adapter piece is attached to the base body by a plug connection, by a clip connection or by a special holder.

A preferred embodiment is that the main body has an adapter guide, in which the adapter piece can be used accurately. As an adapter guide can be used molded into the base recess. The adapter guide can have an internal or external thread, by means of which the socket is screwed into the device.

For certain applications, it is advantageous if the adapter piece has a foldable splash protection.

The advantages of the invention consist on the one hand in a cost advantage in the production of a mobile device, especially in devices for power generation or distribution. The manufacturer can assemble the device complete with body and hand it over to a potential importer. The importer can now subsequently select the connector system and complete it with the appropriate adapter pieces sold to his customers in different countries. There is a cost advantage in the subsequent adaptation to another type of plug. There is also a cost advantage when storing only a mobile device and not different variants. The socket according to the invention has a very large, global application because it is not limited to one region.

Distribution in different countries is very easy. It is also a very simple replacement of the socket type by an end customer possible.
