Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schweißring zum Verbinden von Kunststoffrohren, wobei der Schweißring einen Schweißringkörper aufweist, der einen inneren, mit einem Hohlraum versehenen Dehnschlauch umfasst, um den ein mit einem Schweißautomat verbundener Widerstandsheizdraht geführt ist, welcher von einer Kunststoffumhüllung umgeben ist, die nach einem Aufschmelzen eine vollständige, stoffschlüssige Verbindung von ineinander greifenden Kunststoffrohren herbeiführt. Diese Schweißringe bieten zwar eine hohe Sicherheit beim mediendichten Verschweißen von Kunststoffrohren, jedoch kommt es in Ausnahmefällen vor, dass die Verschweißung nicht vollständig gewährleistet ist. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht deshalb darin, möglichst alle Faktoren auszuschalten, die in Ausnahmefällen der mediendichten Verschweißung entgegenwirken.
