Abstract

Münzbetätigte Automaten, wie z. B. Verkaufsautomaten oder Unterhaltungsautomaten mit Gewinnmöglichkeit, sind nach einer ausreichenden Münzung von jedermann nutzbar. Mit der Neuerung soll sichergestellt werden, dass auch bereits im Feld befindliche, münzbetätigte Unterhaltungsautomaten mit einem Zugangsschutz versehen werden können. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass eine Zentraleinheit eine Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung umfasst, und dass die Zentraleinheit mit einer Steuereinheit des münzbetätigten Automaten vor einer Benutzungsaufnahme des münzbetätigten Automaten miteinander verheiratet wird. Nach einer Zuführung eines Dokuments in der Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung wird von dieser anhand einer Transaktionszahl, einer Verheiratungszahl, dem Datum und der Zahl aus der Permutationstabelle ein Echtheitsmerkmal gebildet und dieses Echtheitsmerkmal mit dem Ergebnis der Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung der Steuereinheit des münzbetätigten Automaten übermittelt. Die Steuereinheit des münzbetätigten Automaten ermittelt selbsttätig eine Echtheitszahl und vergleicht diese mit der übermittelten Echtheitszahl. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren weist den Vorteil auf, dass bei bereits in Benutzung befindlichen münzbetätigten Unterhaltungsautomaten eine Zugriffsschutzfunktion im Nachhinein nachrüstbar ist. Eine Vorrichtung zur Erkennung und Auswertung von Daten auf Dokumenten ist extern angeordnet. Ein Datenaustausch zwischen einer Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung und der Steuereinheit des Unterhaltungsautomaten erfolgt drahtlos. Darüber hinaus besteht die Möglichkeit, eine derartige Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung mit mehr als nur einem münzbetätigten Unterhaltungsautomaten zu nutzen. Die Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung wird zu Beginn mit einem jedem münzbetätigten Unterhaltungsgerät „verheiratet”. Dieses weist den Vorteil auf, dass die Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung bei einer unerlaubten Entwendung nicht an einem anderen Standort weiterhin genutzt werden kann. Darüber hinaus erfolgt die Kommunikation zwischen der Dokumenten-Leseeinrichtung und der Steuereinheit eines jeden münzbetätigten Unterhaltungsautomaten unter Zuhilfenahme eines Echtheitsmerkmals welches dynamisch generiert wird.
