Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die Herstellung und/oder die Funktionalität von Nasslauf-Reibbelägen mit einer Kunststoffmatrix, die mindestens einen Füllstoff enthält, zu vereinfachen beziehungsweise zu verbessern. Die Aufgabe ist bei einem Nasslauf-Reibbelag mit einer Kunststoffmatrix, die mindestens einen Füllstoff enthält, dadurch gelöst, dass der Nasslauf-Reibbelag als Füllstoff Bentonit enthält. Bei im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung durchgeführten Versuchen und Untersuchungen wurde herausgefunden, dass durch den Einsatz von Bentonit eine deutliche Erhöhung des Reibwertniveaus und des statischen Reibwertes bei weiterhin positiven Reibwertgradienten über der Differenzdrehzahl erreicht werden kann. Dabei kann der Füllstoff Bentonit entweder einen herkömmlichen Füllstoff komplett oder in Teilen ersetzen. Der Füllstoff Bentonit kann in ein- oder auch in mehrlagigen Reibpapieren in verschiedenen Lagen vorteilhaft eingesetzt werden. Bei dem Bentonit handelt es sich um ein Tonmineral, das als Schichtsilikat über einen schuppenförmigen Aufbau verfügt. Der Nasslauf-Reibbelag mit dem Bentonit als Füllstoff eignet sich zum Beispiel sehr gut für den Einsatz in Doppelkupplungsgetrieben. Das Reibbelagmaterial mit dem Füllstoff Bentonit ist aber auch sehr gut für den Einsatz in folgenden Anwendungen geeignet: Drehmomentwandler, Automatikgetriebe, Lock-up, Doppelkupplung, Synchronisation und weitere nasslaufende Reibanwendungen.
