Abstract

The invention relates to fumigants, consisting of a combustible mixture for the distribution of fragrances, which additionally have a recess and whose height is smaller than the largest outer diameter of the same. The invention further relates to various forms of fumigants and embodiments of their surfaces and the necessary steps to obtain the fumigant.

Description

The invention relates to fumigants, with which fragrances and suspended solids are distributed. The invention also relates to the use of the fumigant.

Known are the so-called incense cones, which are also referred to as incense candles. These have an opening angle between 20º and 25º. Their height is about 2 to 3 times the base diameter. They are ignited at the top and then form a combustion horizon that progresses from the tip towards the bottom surface by an increasing burning of the flammable substances contained in the incense cone. According to the invention, a fumigant is produced, which has a three-dimensional spatial form, but is not designed conical. The fumigant according to the invention can also have a recess which makes it possible to hang it up, to thread it on or to connect a plurality of them by means of threads or wires.

The body of the fumigant according to the invention has a height which is smaller or at most equal to the largest diameter thereof.

The recess may be arranged eccentrically or multiple times. The fumigant can therefore have the shape of a disc, a lens, a hemisphere, a shell, a truncated cone, a pyramidal stump, a polyhedron or even a ring with a circular, oval, triangular, rectangular or polygonal cross-section.

The normally pasty combustible substance or the mixture is then fed to a device which forms a geometrically determined mixture strand. Preference is given to continuously operating extruders or periodically operated piston presses.

The fumigants according to the invention can be used in various ways.

It is also possible to combine the fumigant according to the invention so that, for example, the arrangement of a string of pearls can be reproduced.

Another form of use is a flexible holder made of a non-combustible material in the form of a rope or a chain. Such a holder can be equipped with a variety of shapes and it is also possible to hang this after loading in various ways.

Depending on the type of suspension, such an arrangement may be fired at one or both ends or in the middle.

It is furthermore possible to burn off the fumigants according to the invention in holders which are comb-shaped or crown-shaped. They can be placed lying flat or standing.

Depending on the type of ignition, it is possible to light the fumigant at its upper or lower end. If the ignition is at the upper end, at the same time the burning rate is low and the combustion more complete, which is reflected in less smoke.
