Abstract

Durch das nicht Wahrnehmen oder verspätete Erkennen von Sondersignalen entstehen immer wieder Behinderungen von Einsatzfahrzeugen oder gar Unfälle. Die Erfindung hat das Ziel, andere Verkehrsteilnehmer frühzeitig und eindeutig von herannahenden Einsatzfahrzeugen mit eingeschaltetem Sondersignal zu warnen.
Die Erfindung liegt zugrunde, dass aus dem allgemeinen Geräuschpegel durch geeignete Signalverarbeitung die interessierenden Signale und Informationen, beispielweise Sondersignale, identifiziert und als Warnung akustisch oder visuell ausgegeben werden.
