Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Haushaltsgeräts und ein Haushaltsgerät. Bei Haushaltsgeräten mit einer Heizeinrichtung, die zum Erwärmen von Flüssigkeiten wie Wasser oder wässerigen Flüssigkeiten verwendet wird, entstehen durch Verkalkung oder Anhaftungen und Anbackungen von z.B.
