Dabei können die Wandflächen auf der Baustelle aus mehreren Bauplatten erstellt werden, die jeweils mit Elementen zur Heizung bzw. Kühlung hinterlegt werden. Allerdings erfordern solche Wandheizungen einen großen Installationsaufwand sowie eine exakt abgestimmte Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Gewerke. Dieser Aufwand kann vermindert werden, sofern die Baugruppen in Werkstätten weitgehend vormontiert werden.
