Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Nutzung der Abgaswärme eines Verbrennungsmotors.The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for utilizing the exhaust heat of an internal combustion engine.
Verbrennungsmotoren werden heutzutage mit Hilfe von Abgasturboladern aufgeladen. Dadurch gewinnt man durch eine im Abgasstrang angeordnete Turbine Abgasenergie des Verbrennungsmotors zurück. Die vom Abgas angetrieben Turbine wird zum Antrieb eines Turboverdichters verwendet, der den Verbrennungsmotor mit unter Druck stehendem Frischgas versorgt. Trotz der teilweisen Rückgewinnung der Abgasenergie mit Hilfe der im Abgasstrang angeordneten Turbine herrschen am Turbinenaustritt immer noch Abgastemperaturen, die hoch genug sind, um sie zu einer Wandlung in eine nutzbare Energieform zu verwenden.Internal combustion engines are nowadays charged by means of exhaust gas turbochargers.
