Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kegelrollenlager nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Aus der Praxis der Kegelrollenlager ist die Forderung bekannt, die wesentlichen Bestandteile eines Kegelrollenlagers, nämlich die beiden Lagerringe, die stumpf-kegeligen Wälzkörper sowie den Käfig als Einheit handhaben zu können, beispielsweise für Transport- oder Montagezwecke. Hierzu sind zusätzliche Elemente wie Sicherungsringe oder Montagehülse bekannt, die ein Auseinanderfallen der beiden Lagerringe mit den Wälzkörpern unterbinden. Es gibt weiter ein Interesse daran, auf derartige zusätzliche Elemente zu verzichten und beispielsweise durch eine angepasste Gestaltung des Käfigs die beiden Lagerringe mit dem Käfig und den darin aufgenommenen Wälzkörpern zu einer Einheit auszubilden.
