Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, eine aus dem Stand der Technik bekannte Pendelschieberpumpe so konstruktiv zu verändern, dass diese nicht mehr axial befüllt bzw. entleert wird, sondern radial, wodurch sich der axiale Bauraumbedarf erheblich reduzieren lässt. Die erfindungsgemäße Pendelschieberpumpe besitzt dabei in gewohnter Weise einen Innenrotor, der über Pendel mit einem Außenrotor in Verbindung steht. Der Innenrotor und der Außenrotor sind darüber hinaus in einem Gehäuse gelagert. Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt nun eine Versorgung sowie eine Entsorgung der Pendelschieberpumpe mit zu förderndem und gefördertem Fluid (Flüssigkeit) radial, das heißt über einen radialen Zulauf sowie über einen radialen Ablauf. Neben der deutlichen Reduzierung des axialen Bauraumbedarfs kann auch eine deutliche Reduzierung einer Fluidumlenkung erfolgen, da nunmehr eine Zuführung des Fluids sowie eine Abführung des Fluids in einer einzigen Ebene erfolgt. Da für die Zuführung und Abführung des zu fördernden bzw. des geförderten Fluids zudem entsprechende Materialaussparung im Außenrotor bzw. einer zwischen dem Außenrotor und dem Gehäuse liegenden Hülse vorgesehen werden müssen, kann die erfindungsgemäße Pendelschieberpumpe zudem gewichtsreduziert hergestellt werden, was insbesondere bei in Kraftfahrzeugen verbauten Pendelschieberpumpen zu einer Gewichtsersparnis und damit einer Reduzierung des Kraftstoffverbrauchs führt.The present invention is based on the general idea of constructively changing a pendulum slide pump known from the prior art in such a way that it is no longer axially filled or emptied, but radially, whereby the axial space requirement can be considerably reduced.
