Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dichtung für eine Lageranordnung, umfassend ein ringförmiges Dichtungselement.The invention relates to a seal for a bearing assembly, comprising an annular sealing element.
Lageranordnungen werden typischer Weise mit Dichtungen versehen, um sie vor dem Eintritt von Schmutz zu schützen. Dichtungen weisen – je nach Ausgestaltung beispielsweise als Radialwellendichtungen oder Gleitringdichtungen, aber auch im Falle von Labyrinthdichtungen – ein Dichtungselement auf, das im Wesentlichen eine ringförmige Gestalt hat. An dem besagten Dichtungselement können dann im gegebenen Falle beispielsweise Dichtlippen angeordnet werden. Weiterhin soll auch der Transport solcher Dichtungen in einfacherer und somit kostengünstigerer Weise möglich werden.
