Eine derartige Ausgestaltung einer Kassettendichtung hat dabei den Vorteil, dass somit der Dichtring und die Ablaufscheibe als vormontierte Baugruppe problemlos in dem jeweiligen radialen Spalt platziert werden können, gleichzeitig aber nach dieser Platzierung keine Reibung innerhalb der Kassettendichtung auftritt. Denn vor einer Platzierung der Kassettendichtung in dem radialen Spalt wird die Ablaufscheibe mittels des mindestens einen Abschnitts und der daran anschließenden, zumindest einen Lippe verliersicher gehalten, nach Montage im Spalt sind beide Bauteilen jedoch beabstandet zueinander angeordnet, so dass keine Reibung und eine hierdurch hervorgerufene Temperaturerhöhung auftreten kann. Alternativ dazu können aber auch mehrere, über den Umfang verteilte Abschnitte mit daran jeweils anschließenden Lippen oder auch einzelne, über den Umfang verteilte und an einem umlaufenden Abschnitt ausgestaltete Lippen vorgesehen sein, so dass die Ablaufscheibe über einzelne Haltenasen am Dichtring verliersicher gehalten ist.
