Description

Durch betriebliche Krafteinwirkungen auf das Zylinderkurbelgehäuse erfährt der Zylinder einen Zylinderverzug, was zu einer unerwünschten Verformung der ansonsten zylindrischen geformten Zylinderlaufbahnen führt. Hierdurch sind Verformungen bis zur Spaltbildung zwischen dem äußeren Umfang der Kolbenringe und der Zylinderlaufbahnen möglich, so dass im Extremfall Verbrennungsgase aus dem Brennraum als Blow-By-Gase in den Kurbelraum eindringen können.
