Hierbei ist zumindest ein Distanzelement vorgesehen, welches im beladenem Zustand der Transportvorrichtung jeweils zwei benachbarte Gegenstände gegeneinander abstützt. Erfindungsgemäß ist dabei vorgesehen, dass das Distanzelement schwenkbar an einem Hebelarm gelagert ist, welcher zwischen einer Transportstellung, in welcher das Distanzelement im Aufnahmebereich für die Gegenstände angeordnet ist, und einer Freigabestellung, in welcher das Distanzelement außerhalb des Aufnahmebereichs für die Gegenstände angeordnet ist, verschwenkbar ist. Hierdurch kann auch ohne die Notwendigkeit aufwendiger Umlaufteile oder fest installierter Zahnschienen, in welche die Gegenstände genau appliziert werden müssen, eine zuverlässige Transportsicherung für derartige zerbrechliche scheibenförmige Gegenstände geschaffen werden. Die einzigen Arbeitsschritte bei der Entnahme sind das Umlegen des Hebels und die tatsächliche Entnahme des Gegenstandes, einzige Arbeitsschritte beim Beladen umgekehrt das Einlegen der Scheibe an das letzte eingeklappte Distanzelement und das Umklappen des nächsten Distanzelements. Wird nun die vorderste Scheibe aus der Transportvorrichtung entnommen, so wird das zugeordnete Hebelelement nicht mehr mit dieser Klemmkraft beaufschlagt, das Drehmoment des Gegengewichts wird wirksam und das Hebelelement klappt selbsttätig aus der Transportstellung in die Freigabestellung.
