Abstract
Description
Elektrische Verteilsysteme können als Stromschienensysteme ausgebildet sein. Stromschienensysteme werden zum Transport und zur Verteilung elektrischer Energie eingesetzt. Typische Aufgaben eines Stromschienensystems sind beispielsweise die Verbindung von einem Transformator über einen Hauptverteiler zum Unterverteiler oder die Versorgung von Großverbrauchern. Typischerweise sind die Stromschienen eines Stromschienensystems in einem Schienenkasten untergebracht, der verhindert, dass ein unerwünschter elektrischer Kontakt zwischen Stromschienen und Umgebung stattfinden kann. Der Schienenkasten hat üblicherweise Abgriffe, an denen elektrische Verbraucher mit den Stromschienen kontaktiert und somit versorgt werden können. Für eine Erweiterung muss bisher das letzte Verbindungselement des vorhandenen Stromschienensystems last- und spannungsfrei geschaltet werden, so dass sensible Bereiche von Krankenhäusern geräumt oder kostspielige Auszeiten von Rechenzentren vorgenommen werden müssen. Somit ist bisher eine Erweiterung eines Stromschienensystems nur möglich, indem die bisherigen Verbindungselemente bzw. Teile davon außer Betrieb gesetzt werden.
