Zur Förderung des Kraftstoffs weist die Hochdruckpumpe eine Antriebswelle mit einem Nocken- oder Exzentertrieb auf, mittels dessen ein Pumpenkolben wenigstens eines Pumpenelementes der Hochdruckpumpe zu einer Hubbewegung antreibbar ist. Im Betrieb der Hochdruckpumpe wirken auf die Antriebswelle sowohl Radial-, als auch Axialkräfte ein, die es über entsprechende Lageranordnungen aufzunehmen gilt.High-pressure fuel pumps of the aforementioned type are well known from the prior art.
