Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a light signal module for generating light signal patterns, wherein the light signal module has a selection means for selecting one of the light signal patterns and can be expanded with further light signal modules and / or acoustic signal modules and is provided for the delivery of different Lichtsignalmustern and / or acoustic signals.
Light signal elements are known from the prior art. These are used to indicate a particular condition or situation, such as an alarm condition or a hazardous situation. Furthermore, differently colored light signal elements can be combined to form a light signal column, wherein each color of the light signal column is provided for signaling a specific state. The field of application of individual light signal elements or of light signal columns, which are composed of several light signal elements, is diverse and can be, for example, status information of machines in factory halls or security monitoring in indoor and outdoor areas.
A disadvantage of the light signal elements known from the prior art is that they are equipped either only with a light signal pattern or only with a maximum of two light signal patterns at the factory. As a result, the choice of light signal patterns is severely limited. By a light signal pattern is meant a continuous light signal or an interrupted light signal having a certain light intensity profile. A specific light signal pattern is produced by changing the light intensity profile and / or by changing the on and off phases of a periodic light signal. Thus, a light signal pattern may be a continuous light, flash, double flash, all-round light, or the like.
Additionally disadvantageous are the restrictions with regard to the modularity of the known light signal elements. By modularity is meant the ability to arbitrarily assemble, connect and juxtapose multiple light signal elements to a light signal column. One reason for this is the different shape and connectivity of individual light signal elements, so that this results in an order prescribed by the manufacturer in the composition of the individual light signal elements to a light signal column. Another reason is a non-modular electrical connectivity between individual light signal elements, resulting in a prescribed sequence in the composition of a light signal column. As an example, the compelling arrangement of red light signal elements at the top of known light signal columns can be specified for this purpose. Additionally disadvantageous in the known light signal elements is the lack of an expansion possibility with acoustic signal elements for emitting acoustic signals due to lack of modularity and expandability with such acoustic signal elements.
Task was to find a solution to at least reduce one of the disadvantages mentioned. In particular, a light signal module should have different light signal patterns, so that the end user can make a desired selection. Furthermore, a solution for improving the possibility of combining individual light signal modules for generating light signal patterns and extension of those with acoustic signal modules is to be proposed. At least an alternative solution should be found.
To solve a light signal module is proposed according to
According to a preferred embodiment, the housing of the first light signal module has an upper area for mounting a second light signal module with a second housing color, an acoustic signal module or a cap and a lower area for attaching a third light signal module with a third housing color or a base, wherein the base a support element or a support element adapter attachable. The housing has on the upper side via recesses, which allow attaching a second light signal module with a second housing color, an acoustic signal module or a cap. To supply the light signal module with electrical energy, the light signal module Kontaktierungsbeine on the one hand establish an electrical connection with the circuit board, and on the other hand when placing or plugging on a third optical signal module through the recesses on the upper side of the light signal module protrude into the light signal module and Contacting areas are connected to the circuit board and thus enable electrical signal transmission between the light signal modules or between a light signal module and an acoustic signal module. The light signal module has a shape in the lower region which makes it possible to attach it to the upper side of a third light-signal module having a third housing color. The light signal module has recesses in the upper area on its housing jacket surface and recesses in the lower area inside the housing. The recesses in the upper region and the bulges in the lower region of the housing of the light signal module enable a positive connection of the light signal module to a third light signal module, wherein a wedging of the two light signal modules and attaching them is realized by a subsequent rotational movement relative to one of the light signal modules. Accordingly, the housing can be provided at the upper portion with a cap to cover the housing. The cap is used to protect the traffic light module against the weather. After the aforementioned attachment principle, the housing can be placed on a pedestal. The base is preferably configured such that it is attached to a support element or a support element adapter and thus fastened to a desired position, for example by means of screws. The support element is a holding device and serves to attach the base, which is connected to the light signal module. The support element is preferably configured rod-shaped in the lower region and has a foot region. The foot region preferably has holes for screwing the support element at any position. To extend the support element of the support element adapter is used. The support element adapter is preferably provided for insertion into the support element and extends the overall length as a holding device to change the position of the light signal module as needed during assembly and to vary, for example, the horizontal or vertical position of the light signal module.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the first housing color, the second housing color and the third housing color differ from one another and are each one of the colors red, blue, green, orange, yellow, white or transparent. In this embodiment, different light signal modules are interconnected, each light signal module having a different color. The color distinction of a light signal module comes through the respective housing color to light, so you can distinguish individual light signal modules based on the housing color from each other. In this case, a light signal column consisting of several light signal modules with different housing colors can be put together. Furthermore, the light signal column can be equipped with an acoustic signal module, so that both optical and acoustic signals can be generated to reproduce a particular state.
In a preferred embodiment, a light signal pattern consists of a continuous light signal or at least a periodic light signal having a predetermined light intensity pattern for lighting in at least one predetermined direction and is, for example, a continuous light, flashing light, flash light, double flash light, all-round light or the like. The light signal pattern is to be understood as a specific manifestation of light signals of the light signal module. The light signal pattern can be composed of a continuous light signal having a specific light intensity profile or a plurality of temporally interrupted light signals having a specific light intensity profile. In the latter, the interruptions follow a periodic course, so that the on and off phases repeat themselves at regular intervals. In addition, the aforementioned variations are to be combined with different lighting directions. In the presence of a plurality of light elements in a light signal module, this results in further light signal patterns, which are characterized by switching on and off of individual lighting elements in a particular order and orientation. The aforementioned variations for the design of a light signal pattern then yield, for example, a continuous light, flashing light, flash light, double flash light, all-round light or the like.
According to a preferred embodiment, the light signal module has up to eight different light signal patterns for selection. In this embodiment, up to eight different light signal patterns are used so that the user can make a desired setting and decide on a light signal pattern.
In a further preferred embodiment, the acoustic signal module is arranged to emit a continuous tone and / or pulse tone and has a second selection means for selecting one of the tones. The acoustic signal module is for generating provided by acoustic signals and allows by a second selection means to select a particular acoustic signal such as a continuous tone or pulse tone. The acoustic signal preferably has various shapes. These each have a specific frequency spectrum profile and a specific amplitude curve and may be subject to a temporal change. In the presence of different tones, the user can make a selection of the sound to be delivered via the second selection means. As a second selection means different types of switches such as a switch, a jumper or a DIP switch can be used.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the light signal module, the first selection means and / or the second selection means is a switch, a jumper or a DIP switch. As already described for the second selection means, different types of switches can be used. The different types of switches can be used for both the first selector and the second selector. These include all known types of switches in the field of electronics and electrical engineering, which have a corresponding dimension for fitting in the housing of a light signal module or acoustic signal module can be used. The switches used are preferably microswitches, DIP switches or jumpers and the like. It is also conceivable to equip the light signal module and / or the acoustic signal module with a receiver and / or transmitter for wireless connection production. In this way, a wireless selection of different acoustic signals and / or light signal patterns is made possible and, moreover, a wireless interrogation of the current settings of the light signal module and / or the acoustic signal module is realized.
According to a preferred embodiment, the circuit board has a circuit which is set up for rectification, voltage regulation, clock generation and / or control. Here, both the printed circuit board in the light signal module and the printed circuit board in the acoustic signal module is meant. The printed circuit board is supplied with electrical energy, which may be in the form of either direct current or alternating current. In the case of the supply of alternating current, an adaptation or modulation of the electrical signal is necessary in particular when using discrete components for generating the desired light signal pattern and / or acoustic signals. For this purpose, the circuit board has circuit areas which are provided for rectification, voltage regulation, clock generation and / or control of the individual modulation and adaptation processes. Furthermore, it is conceivable to realize the generation, modulation, control and / or adjustment of the light signal pattern and / or acoustic signals by means of a microcontroller.
In a further preferred embodiment of the light signal module, the housing has a Fresnel lens-shaped configuration at least in regions and is set up to transmit at least one specific light component of a light generated by the light-emitting element. A fresnel lens or fresnel stage lens is divided into annular areas. The use of a Fresnel lens mold reduces the thickness and saves material. This increases the profitability in the production. The housing is preferably provided for transmitting at least a certain amount of light, so that different light components or colors can pass through the housing through the use of different housings.
According to a further embodiment of the light signal module, the light-emitting element is a light-emitting diode for generating a specific light color. In principle, various luminous bodies, such as, for example, light bulbs or light-emitting diodes, can be used as the luminous element. In this case, preferably light emitting diodes are used, which are provided for generating a specific light color. The use of light-emitting diodes is particularly preferred in combination with discrete electrical components and an electrical supply of the light signal module with direct current.
In a preferred embodiment of the light signal module, the light signal module has a spring-loaded contacting pin. For electrical supply of a light signal module or the transmission of electrical energy to the respective printed circuit boards Kontaktierungsbeine are provided, which are arranged substantially perpendicular to the circuit board of the light signal module and / or the acoustic signal module. The Kontaktierungsbein makes an electrical connection with another light signal module and has due to the existing Aufsteckprinzips over at least a portion which has a suspension and essentially represents a spring-loaded Kontaktierungsstift. The spring-loaded contacting pin moves within and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the contacting leg. The total length of the Kontaktierungsbeins is flexibly shortened by the spring-loaded contact pin when attaching the light signal module. When plugging in, the spring-loaded contacting pin makes contact with a designated contacting area on the printed circuit board of another light signal module. The contacting region on the printed circuit board is preferably designed as a circular segment strip, so that a subsequent rotational movement after plugging it causes the spring-loaded contacting pin moves along the circular segment strip and so the electrical contact continues to exist.
In a further preferred embodiment of the present invention, a light signal column consists of at least one optical signal module according to one of the aforementioned embodiments, wherein a plurality of light emitting diodes are placed on each of a circuit board strip, each circuit board strip is mounted substantially perpendicular to the circuit board and the light emitting diodes with their light generating side in Are directed substantially radially to the inner surface of the housing and one of the light signal modules is mounted on one of the further light signal modules or on the base, wherein the base is connected to the support member and one of the light signal modules has a cap. In this embodiment, a plurality of light emitting diodes are used, which are mounted on a circuit board strip. For a light signal module more of these PCB strips can be used. The number of PCB strips used and thus also the number of LEDs used, which are located on a PCB strip can be varied as needed. The circuit board strips are preferably arranged substantially perpendicular to the circuit board. The circuit board strips are arranged such that the light-emitting diodes are directed with their light-generating side to the inside of the housing and a transmission of the light signal takes place outside of the housing. Preferably, four circuit board strips each with five light emitting diodes are used. However, the number of PCB strips used and the number of LEDs used depends on the size of the housing of the light signal module. For smaller light signal modules, the number of PCB strips and / or the number of LEDs can be reduced. The circuit board strips are preferably arranged in the form of a square or rectangle in the middle of the printed circuit board in such a way that the backs of each two circuit board strips are directed substantially parallel to each other. With an increase in the number of the printed circuit board strips, these can each be arranged in a circle in the middle of the printed circuit board with the light-generating sides of the light-emitting diodes. Furthermore, the circuit board strips can be arranged in the form of a regular polygon, such as a pentagon, hexagon or the like. As a result, an optimal distribution of the generated light signal is realized. Furthermore, by the abovementioned arrangement variants, an all-round light, as already described, can be generated as a light signal pattern. For this purpose, a circularly moving light signal pattern is realized by a cyclical switching on and off of the individual circuit board strips with their LEDs in a specific orientation.
Preferably, the selection of a light signal pattern is performed separately for each light signal module, so that a light signal column consisting of a plurality of light signal modules generates different light signal patterns.
An acoustic signal module preferably has a housing which has a similar shape as the housing of a light signal module and is therefore modularly combinable. Furthermore, the acoustic signal module can be connected to a base and thus used for the sole generation of acoustic signals or tones. The housing of an acoustic signal module preferably has a different color than the housing of a light signal module and is, for example, black and is preferably not translucent.
Preferably, at least one microcontroller is used to set, control and operate a light signal module or light signal columns. The microcontroller is preferably installed in a light signal module, acoustic signal module or in a socket of a light signal column and centrally controls at least one light signal module and / or an acoustic signal module or the light signal column.
Further preferably, as a material for producing components of a light signal module and a light signal column, plastic, polyphenylene ether (PPE), polyphenylene oxide (PPO), poly (2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether), MPPO (modified polyphenylene oxide), MPPE (Modified Polyphenylene ether) and / or ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) used. The material for producing components of a light signal module and a light signal column is preferably impact-resistant and weather-resistant.
Preferably, those of a light signal modules and acoustic signal modules have different dimensions and in particular have an outer diameter of about 4 to 7 cm and a height of about 6 to 7.5 cm.
The housing of the light signal module and the light signal column and / or the acoustic signal module can also be configured preferably cuboid or cube-shaped and have corresponding Einklemmbereiche and / or Einrastzungen, which are provided for connecting a plurality of housings.
Preferably, the housing of the light signal module is at least partially red, blue, yellow, orange, green or transparent. These Variety of variants can be used to signal different states or situations and depending on the number of combined housing colors, the number of generated signals changes, which can be selected individually by the user.
Preferably, a light signal module has 8 different light signal patterns, which can be selected by the user by means of a switch, a jumper or a DIP switch.
In the following, various embodiments of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to drawings.
