Üblicherweise werden für Außenhautteile von Kraftwagen hierbei Aluminiumlegierungen der Legierungsklasse 6000 verwendet. Diese sind nachteiliger Weise komplex in der Herstellung und daher teuer und oftmals sehr schlecht verfügbar. Die bekannten Umformmethoden, die ein zwischenzeitliches Auslagern notwendig machen, sind zudem sehr zeitaufwendig, was den Herstellungsprozess ebenfalls verteuert.Normally, aluminum body parts of alloy class 6000 are used for outer skin parts of motor vehicles. Bei einem derartigen Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Außenhautteils für einen Kraftwagen wird das Außenhautteil durch Tiefziehen einer Blechplatine in einem Tiefziehwerkzeug umgeformt. Die Blechplatine und/oder das Tiefziehwerkzeug werden hierbei erfindungsgemäß während des Umformens auf eine vorgegebene Temperatur erwärmt. Durch das Umformen der Blechplatine im warmen Zustand können auch Aluminiumlegierungen bearbeitet werden, die kalt nur sehr schwer umformbar sind. Insbesondere bei magnesiumreicheren Aluminiumlegierungen bilden sich beim kalten Tiefziehen so genannte Fließfiguren, die die Oberflächenqualität des Außenhautteils mindern. Durch die Warmumformung kann diese Fließfigurenbildung zuverlässig vermieden werden, so dass hochqualitative Außenhautteile erhalten werden. Im Gegensatz zu bekannten Methoden, die ein zwischenzeitliches Warmauslagern notwendig machen, ist der erfindungsgemäße Umformprozess zudem äußerst schnell und kostengünstig durchführbar. Das Umformen im warmen Zustand ermöglicht zudem eine höhere Ziehtiefe, also einen höheren Umformgrad, was die Herstellung komplexer geformter Außenhautteile mit besonders wenig Ziehstufen möglich macht.In such a method for producing an outer skin part for a motor vehicle, the outer skin part is formed by deep drawing a sheet metal blank in a deep-drawing tool.
