Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a sunshade for a portable computer.

Due to the ever-increasing use of portable computers in daily life, the use of such devices in the outdoor area is desired. The problem arises that the screens used in these devices are very susceptible to strong sunlight, which greatly reduces the usability of these devices in direct sunlight, because nothing can be detected on the screen.

From the prior art it is known to make a complete enclosure of the computer, as shown in FIG DE 20 2006 011 120 U1 and DE 203 15 906 U1 , The problem here is that such sheaths must be taken, which means an additional transport effort, and thus hampers the usability of such systems. Furthermore, the user is restricted in using the computer because he has to place the device within the enclosure, which may, for example, either limit the view of the screen or require fixed locations to deploy the sunshade device in conjunction with the computer.

Another known solution provides that two brackets are permanently attached to the back of a laptop, on which two arms are arranged via pivot mechanisms, at the end facing away from the housing, a further pivot mechanism is provided, on which a surface element is arranged. The overall device provides that the surface element in the non-use state can be arranged so that it covers the back of the computer. The disadvantage here is that a permanent fixed connection of the sunscreen is provided with the computer as such. This is not desired by the users, as it can not be easily removed and thus additional transport weight arises.

The object of the invention is therefore to find a sunscreen for which no appreciable additional transport effort is necessary, and also requires no permanent connections to the computer as such.

According to the invention the object is achieved in that a sunshade is provided with a sheet, at least two fasteners and a connecting element, wherein the sheet is connectable via the fastener with the connecting element, and the connecting element via a further fastener to the housing of the computer or screen solvable is connectable, wherein a three-dimensional orientation of the sheet relative to the screen by a relative movement of the sheet in space with respect to the screen via a relative movement of the fastener relative to the connecting element can be produced, and the sheet is designed so that it is in from the fastener dissolved state can be used as a protective element of the screen, for example, to prevent keyboard prints on the screen.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the computer is a laptop. A laptop represents a combination as a pop-up computer whose screen, preferably a TFT display, comprises a housing to which the connecting element can be attached. A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the fastening element is a clamping element. This represents a cost-effective possibility of attachment, which does not cause damage to the housing with appropriate provision of protective elements.

A further advantageous teaching of the invention provides that the connecting element is designed to be flexible. This is preferably designed as a gooseneck. Such an elongated member, in the respective ends of which the connecting elements are provided, can also be easily transported parallel to the portable computer.

A further teaching of the invention provides that the sheet is a plate having a surface which protects the screen as such and possibly also absorbs shocks, so that contact between the keyboard of the computer and the screen as such is avoided. Advantageously, is on the plate, the can be made for example of metal, plastic or cardboard, a covering, for example, provided with a substance, or a coating. Alternatively, a sponge rubber layer may be provided on the plate, or the plate itself may be made of a corresponding protective material.

Claims (5)
