Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einer in einem Zylinderkopf gelagerten, hohlen Nockenwelle zum Antrieb von Ein-/Auslassventilen über einen Ventiltrieb gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht auf dem allgemeinen Gedanken, eine Schmierung eines Ventiltriebs in einer Brennkraftmaschine auf alternative und gleichzeitig äußerst einfache Weise zu erreichen, indem in einer Nockenwelle der Brennkraftmaschine zumindest eine Radialöffnung, insbesondere eine Radialbohrung, vorgesehen wird, die derart angeordnet ist, dass durch diese beim Betrieb der Brennkraftmaschine Öl, das heißt generell Schmierstoff, gezielt auf den Ventiltrieb zur Schmierung desselben übertragen wird. Die zumindest eine Radialbohrung ist dabei beispielsweise benachbart zu einem Nocken angeordnet, der über eine entsprechende Ventiltriebhebelanordnung auf ein Ein- oder Auslassventil wirkt. Durch die in der Nockenwelle vorgesehene Radialbohrung tritt der sich in der Nockenwelle abscheidende und an einer Innenwandung der Nockenwelle anlagernde Ölfilm aus der Radialbohrung aus und wird von dieser auf den zugehörigen Ventiltrieb geschleudert, so dass die Schmierung des Ventiltriebs ausschließlich durch in der Nockenwelle abgeschiedenes Öl erfolgen kann, welches an den dafür vorgesehenen Radialbohrungen aus dieser austritt. Vorzugsweise kann dabei die durch die zumindest eine Radialbohrung austretende Ölmenge eine bisher separat angeordnete Schmierung des Ventiltriebs komplett ersetzen, so dass auf diese verzichtet werden kann. Das Herstellen derartiger Radialbohrungen, welche beispielsweise symmetrisch um einen Umfang der Nockenwelle herum verteilt angeordnet sind, um Unwuchten zu vermeiden, ist darüber hinaus fertigungstechnisch einfach und dadurch ebenfalls kostengünstig.The present invention is based on the general idea to achieve a lubrication of a valve train in an internal combustion engine in an alternative and at the same time extremely simple manner by at least one radial opening, in particular a radial bore, is provided in a camshaft of the internal combustion engine, which is arranged such that by during operation of the internal combustion engine, oil, that is to say generally lubricant, is specifically transferred to the valve drive for lubrication thereof. Durch das Vorsehen derartiger Manschetten kann gezielt Einfluss auf die Ölverteilung innerhalb der Nockenwelle genommen werden, so dass bei einem Anordnen einer derartigen Manschette benachbart zu einer der erfindungsgemäßen Radialbohrungen stets gewährleistet ist, dass an der Radialbohrung genügend Öl zur Schmierung des Ventiltriebs zur Verfügung steht. Durch eine unterschiedliche radiale Dicke mehrerer Manschetten kann darüber hinaus direkt Einfluss auf die zur Verfügung stehende Schmiermittelmenge im Bereich der Manschette genommen werden, wodurch wiederum gezielt Einfluss auf die gewünschte Schmierung des Ventiltriebs genommen werden kann.It is expedient to provide at least one sleeve formed as a barrage in the camshaft, which accumulates the separated oil.
