Die Verbindung sollte über geeignete Funkwellen jeglicher Art erfolgen können, sei es im Rahmen der Mobilfunktechnik über längere Reichweiten oder über kurzwelligere Funkwellen nur in einem definierten Radius. Teilnehmende Kraftfahrzeuge müssen mit entsprechenden Empfangseinrichtungen und Wiedergabemöglichkeiten wie Bildschirme und/oder Lautsprecher ausgerüstet sein.
