Abstract
Description
ZusammenfassungSummary
The invention allows the construction of paragliders, parachutes and kites, in which only two Leinenanlenkungen per tread rib are used without the profile is deformed thereby.
Einleitungintroduction
Paragliders, parachutes and kites with air chamber construction are used in many areas today. Paragliders are started from slopes and at the winch and covered by thermals and wind. Parachutes take off from larger aircraft and the landing area is approached accurately. Stunt kites are used with surfboards, with skids or wheeled vehicles or smaller ships as a train device. Common to all of them is the simple construction of almost airtight material, which makes the device light, easy to manufacture and inexpensive. The tried and tested air chamber design has been refined to this day and the performance of a modern paraglider almost reaches that of a hang glider. Among the paragliders, parachutes and stunt kites, one of the biggest performance brakes is the resistance of the lines. On the one hand, you need at least three, usually even four points of articulation for the highest possible profile fidelity; on the other hand, you need as few line meters as possible for less air resistance and more glide performance. This paradox is bypassed by some manufacturers through the use of carbon, PVC or fiberglass rods, which are installed in the profiles for better load distribution.
However, the use of rigid components does not conform to the FAI definition of the screen. In addition, rigid components in the paraglider pose a high security risk, since the rigid rods impose in the lines when folded over a large area and can cause an uncontrolled crash.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
Current paragliders have between 3 and 4 articulation points per tread rib.
Aufgabe der ErfindungObject of the invention
The invention relates to a paraglider, parachute or stunt kite, which has the shape of an airfoil. The aim is to achieve the highest possible profile fidelity with maximum reduced line resistance in order to achieve a high aerodynamic quality and thus to improve performance and stability.
In order to achieve the maximum profile fidelity with only two mooring lines, a part of the profile is made of foam. Since the load per articulation point in flight is relatively low - usually below 10 kg - a very light, yet solid foam can be used. The thickness of this foam reinforcement can be between 1 and 25 mm as needed.
