Eine Heizeinrichtung mit Trägerplatten aus Glas oder Keramik kann deshalb vorteilhaft auch unter sehr feuchten Bedingungen oder bei höheren Temperaturen betrieben werden, beispielsweise in Heizlüftern für Feuchträume, Wäschetrocknern, Geschirrspülern, Heizungen für Trockensilos oder andere Industrieanwendungen.
