Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hose made by helical, multi-layer winding of profiled strip material with a hooked or agraffartiger binding of the winding layers.
Especially in the passenger car sector, but also in commercial vehicles such winding tubes are known as so-called liners for the exhaust system in decoupling elements of exhaust systems. They are introduced into gas-tight metal bellows in order to avoid additional turbulence in the exhaust gas flow and also to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation properties of the decoupling element.
Since worldwide legal regulations regulate the pollutant emissions of commercial vehicles significantly downwards in the future, exhaust systems will in future increasingly with after-treatment modules such. As soot particle filters and SCR systems are equipped. The functionality of the exhaust aftertreatments is highly dependent on the temperature of the exhaust gas, with which it enters the aftertreatment. This applies in the case of the SCR systems for the catalytic reaction, which should lead to an almost complete reduction of the nitrogen oxides as soon as possible after the starting process. In the case of the particulate filter, passive regeneration can only take place when a minimum exhaust gas temperature is exceeded. The active regeneration z. B. is initialized by the injection of unburned diesel in the exhaust system, also works more effectively, the higher the exhaust gas temperatures. This results in the requirement that the temperature losses in the exhaust gas from its path from the turbo output to the input to the aftertreatment are to be minimized. From this requirement, the winding tube is affected because it is located in both mentioned embodiments, either as a liner element in bellows or as a sole decoupling element without enveloping metal bellows almost exclusively in the exhaust line between the turbo outlet and the entrance to the aftertreatment. Thus, the temperature loss in the winding tube is to minimize.
Against this background, it is an object of the present invention to provide an improved winding tube, which minimizes the temperature losses in the flowing exhaust gas. The maintenance of all functional properties of the winding tube as a decoupling element, the possibility of non-damaging external cleaning of the decoupling element with the aid of a steam jet and the provision of an economically attractive solution are secondary tasks of the invention.
Main task and secondary tasks are solved by a winding tube having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are contained in the subclaims.
