Bei mittleren und großen Temperaturdifferenzen
zwischen Innenraum und Außen,
entsteht an Scheiben und Rahmen ein deutliches Kondenswasseraufkommen,
welches sogar Beschädigungen
am Interieur anrichten kann. In jedem Fall stellen Bullaugen gewöhnlicher
Bauart Quellen der „Kältestrahlung" dar, die das Wohnklima
sehr nachteilig beeinflussen.

Unser neuartiges Bullauge verfügt nun über vier Neuerungen bezüglich der Konstruktion:
- 1. Das Glaskomposit (S) besteht aus einer Securitglasscheibe mit großem Durchmesser (S1), einem Hohlraumdistanzring (HDR) und einer dünneren Sekuritglasscheibe (S2) kleineren Durchmessers. Die größere Scheibe liegt kraftschlüssig in der klappbaren Bullaugenklappe (D) oder alternativ im festen Bullaugeninnenrahmen bei Bullaugen ohne klappbarem Deckel. Somit wird die Doppelglasscheibe bei Wasserdruck nicht zusammengepresst, was der Fall wäre, wenn beide Scheiben den gleichen Durchmesser hätten und die innere Scheibe auf dem Rahmen aufliegen würde.
- 2. Das Gehäuse
des Bullauges besteht aus einem Außenrahmen (A), der durch die
Rumpföffnung geschoben
wird, aus einem Schraubring (B), der von innen auf den Außenrahmen
geschraubt wird, aus einer Bullaugenglasverschraubung (C), die samt
Bullaugenklappe (D) ebenfalls auf den Außenrahmen (A) gedreht wird
und letztlich aus einem Deckrahmen (E), der von außen in den
Außenrahmen
eingesetzt wird. (Bei Rumpfarbeiten kann er einfach herausgenommen
werden, was Überholungskosten
spart.) Das Besondere an diesem Deckrahmen ist die Dämmfüllung (
4 ) zwischen ihm und dem Außenrahmen und die umlaufende Moosgummidichtung (5 ) am Deckrahmentrichterende, die ihrerseits direkt auf die Doppelglasscheibe (S) stößt und dichtet. Es verbleiben keine Kältebrücken. - 3. Für
ganz extreme Temperaturbereiche ist der innere Schraubring (B) beheizt

6 ), womit das ganze Bullaugensystem temperiert wird. - 4. Ein Einschubring (H) kann individuell gestaltet werden, was dem Bullauge eine persönliche Note verleiht.
