Abstract

The method involves verifying whether diagnosis-boundary conditions required for an On-Board-Diagnosis of a dynamic system are satisfied. An actual-diagnosis value for a component associated to the dynamic system is determined if the diagnosis-boundary conditions are satisfied. The actual diagnosis values are compared with a diagnosis-threshold value specified for the component by generating a ratio between an actual-diagnosis value and diagnosis-threshold. Information of the ratio that is determined for the component is provided.
