Abstract

The device has a cage tension spring (26) comprising a U-shaped body with a sidepiece arranged on an outer side of a clamping frame (20), and a clamping fork (34) inserted into another sidepiece of the body. The fork surrounds the frame and determines a clamping position at another outer side of the frame. A slider (42) presses the sidepieces against each other and presses away the fork from the clamping position. A busbar terminal is inserted between the fork and the frame, so that the spring presses back the fork into the clamping position on completion of the pressing by the slider. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cage tension spring comprising a U-shaped body (2) a mechanism for actuating a cage tension spring.
