Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (20) zum Bestimmen unterirdischer Eigenschaften, mit einem langgestreckten Körper (22), der eine Längsachse aufweist und zum Anordnen in einem unterirdischen Bohrloch (11) ausgestaltet ist, einem Sender (T), der am Körper (22) angeordnet und zum Aussenden elektromagnetischer Energie ausgestaltet ist, und einem Empfänger (R), der am Körper (22) beabstandet vom Sender (T) angeordnet und zum Empfangen elektromagnetischer Energie ausgestaltet ist, wobei der Empfänger (R) in einem Abstand von weniger als etwa 15 cm vom Sender (T) angeordnet ist und der Sender (T) oder Empfänger (R) wenigstens eine Antenne aufweist, deren Achse in bezug auf die Längsachse des Körpers (22) schräggestellt ist.
