Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur gefahrlosen Entfernung eines Verschlussstopfens (2) einer Gasrohrleitung (3), wobei der Verschlussstopfen insbesondere eine zwischen einem Stopfen (4) und einem T-Stück (5) der Gasrohrleitung bestehende Schweißnaht (28) aufweist, und die Vorrichtung (1) einen mittels einer Halte- und Stützeinrichtung (6) abgestützten und geführten Fräskopf (7) aufweist und die den Fräskopf (7) abstützende bzw. führende Halte- und Stützeinrichtung, vermittels einer Befestigungseinrichtung (8), kraftschlüssig auf der Gasrohrleitung (3) befestigt.
