Abstract

The fixing device attaches the rear load carrier (1) to the rear of the automobile in the vicinity of the rear bumper via a pair of horizontal struts (5,6), secured to the automobile by fitting the struts into respective retention clamps (2) having a mounting plate provided with fixing screws and parallel carrier latches (2a,2b) coupled together by a bearing pin, a pivot pin and a hook pin, cooperating with the hooked end of the strut.
