Abstract

Brake disk comprises an intermediate layer (12) having increased diffusion compactness against moisture and/or ions arranged between an outer wear-resistant layer (11) and a base body (10). An independent claim is also included for a process for testing the diffusion compactness of an intermediate layer arranged on a brake disk. Preferred Features: The intermediate layer has improved compactness against chloride ions. The intermediate layer has good adhesion to the material of the base body. The intermediate layer is an oxidic intermediate layer.
