Verfahren zur Verbindung beliebiger Materialien unter gleichzeitiger Verwendung von Klebstoffen und mechanischen Mitteln In der deutschen Patentschrift 948 073 ist ein Verbindungsverfahren beschrieben, bei dem ein nicht wärmehärtbarer, Rückprallelastizität aufweisender Silikonkitt (»bouncing putty«) gemeinsam mit bekannten Fügeverfahren, wie Schrauben, Nageln, Klammern, Verstiften od. dgl. benutzt wird. Der bekanntlich stoßelastische Silikonkitt, der z. Dieses Produkt besitzt dann eine gerade bei hohen dynamischen Belastungen, wie Stöße, Schläge, Schwingungen od. dgl., auftretende, bisher offenbar gar nicht beachtete, erhebliche Stoßelastizität. Diese wirkt sich so aus, daß Klebverbindungen hiermit bei dynamischer Beanspruchung überraschende Festigkeitswerte ergeben. Die Ausnutzung dieser besonderen Eigenschaft des an sich sonst bekannten Produktes kann im Hinblick auf die Weichheit der Klebung langsam und stetig einwirkenden Kräften gegenüber aber nur in Verbindung mit den bekannten Fügeverfahren, wie Schrauben, Nieten od. dgl., erfolgen, die diese Kräfte, also die statische Belastung übernehmen. Dann ergibt sich aber ein fortschrittliches Verbindungsverfahren für beliebige Materialien, zumal durch die zusätzliche, durch den Klebstoff erfolgende Bindung der ganzen Fläche andererseits auch die bisherigen Fügeverfahren, wie Schrauben, Nageln, Nieten od. dgl., erheblich verbessert werden. Im Vergleich zu bekannten Klebverfahren, wie sie mit härtbaren Kunstharzen, wie Epoxyharzen z. B. bei Metallverbindungen üblich sind, ist die wesentlich größere Belastungsfähigkeit bei den dynamischen Beanspruchungen hervorzuheben. Ein Bruch der erfindungsgemäßen Klebung heilt sich, sofern er überhaupt noch auftritt, wieder von selbst aus. Der vorgeschlagene Klebstoff bleibt in seiner Konsistenz und seinen Haft- und Bindeeigenschaften auch in Jahren praktisch unverändert, es erfolgt keinerlei Härtung.
