Erfindungsgemäß wird die aus der Schichtenfolge 1, 2 und 3 oder, wenn die Zwischenschicht 3 nicht vorhanden ist, aus der Schichtenfolge 1 und 2 bestehende Teppichware an ihrer Rückseite, d. h. an der der Florschicht 1 abgewandten Seite direkt mit einer Beflockungsschicht 4 versehen. Die Aufgabe der Beflockungsschicht 4 besteht darin, eine Rutschfestigkeit des Autoteppichs 10 herbeizuführen. Je nach Anforderung kann die Beflockungsschicht 4 eine einheitliche Schicht sein, die die gesamte Fläche der Teppichware oder nur einen Teilbereich derselben überdeckt. Ebenso ist es denkbar auch mehrere voneinander getrennte Beflockungsschichtbereiche 4', beispielsweise in den vier Ecken des Autoteppichs 10 vorzusehen. In der Fig. 1 ist dies durch unterbrochene Linien dargestellt. Da die Embleme 5 bei den einzelnen Beflockungsoperationen immer automatisch durch gezielte und gesteuerte Abgabe von Flocken unterschiedlicher Farben an denselben Orten erhalten werden, ist es im Gegensatz zum Stand der Technik nicht nötig, ein eigenes zweifarbig beflocktes Gewebe, das von einer Vorratsrolle abgerollt wird, in Bezug auf die Teppichware und das Stanzwerkzeug auszurichten. Hierbei können weitere Kosten eingespart werden.
