Abstract
Description
The invention relates to photoelectronic recording devices such as camcorders or Photo cameras that are mass-produced especially for the end user.
- A) The disadvantage that you have to target the object to be captured largely in a line "eye-camera-object". For some years now, devices have been on the market that display the object on the camera on a small electronic flat screen (large-area viewfinder display). In order to improve handling, these screens can be folded out and rotated by the video camera, in particular in the case of video camcorders, so that they do not have to be held directly in the line mentioned above. The disadvantage, however, is that the eye must be close to the camera. Overhead recordings are still only possible to a limited extent. In bright surroundings (daylight outdoors) or against the sky, these are difficult to see on the screen due to the limited brightness of flat screens. The camera is also difficult to operate in a remote location. A system should also advantageously be found so that the sensitive screens can be easily exchanged or used when changing models in order to make the purchase cheaper.
- B) Video cameras are relatively unselective in the sound recording, since they either have only a directional microphone or an external microphone. The recording of a debate or an orchestra therefore only gives an overall impression; details are difficult to pin down.
- C) Electronic video or photo cameras are coveted stolen goods because they have no countermeasures. The only protection against this today is safe storage. However, especially when traveling, this cannot be guaranteed to the extent necessary.
The object of the present invention is to remedy these disadvantages in order to the user A) better recordings and / or B) more selective sound recognition and / or C) more security to grant against theft.
In the document WO 98/51074 it is proposed that on the camera To transfer the flat screen to a mirror using an optical mirror system can hold in hand to view the image regardless of the camera position can. The disadvantage of this solution is that with increasing distance between Screen on the camera and "hand viewer" (flat screen) also the image in the Hand-held viewer gets smaller, or if the camera image on the lens system The hand-held viewer focuses on the positions of both systems precisely and calmly to each other have to stand. In practice, this is disadvantageous. A possibility should therefore be found to design a flat screen to display the photo or film object that he is simple and safe and largely independent of a photographer or videographer from the position of the camera, d. H. from the o. e. Eye camera object line (e.g. overhead) to be able to hold and still be able to see the object well on the screen. Doing so camera shake can also be avoided. It would therefore be from Advantage if at least the most important operating functions such as on / off switch, Focal length adjustment (tele / near) or sound source etc., which are on the camera today and with the hand (high) holding the camera so difficult to operate, better would be manageable.
A system is hereby proposed, in which the flat screen itself from the camera can be removed and with the camera via flexible wires or wireless Data transmission related. For the former solution, the camera delivers the Control currents for the flat screen, usually via a ribbon cable. This is advantageously provided with a known reel mechanism, so its length (preferably approx. 0.4 to 1.2 m for bridging the distance from left and right hand between flat screen / camera) does not bother.
In the case of a wireless data transmission system, the camera sends the corresponding ones digital image signals (the transmission of the audio signals can be omitted) and the removable flat screen has appropriate receivers and amplifiers.
For example, high-frequency electromagnetic transmission can be large Amounts of data are made using the Bluetooth method. It is state of the art and relative available cheap.
Another advantage is that such screens are easy for repair purposes are interchangeable and that they can be used again when changing models, when the new camera design is matched to it. This makes the new purchase cheaper.
Fig. 1 shows a video camera ( 1 ) with an inventive removable flat screen ( 2 ) in a housing ( 2.1 ). When in use, it can not only be folded out to the side, as is known, but can also be removed from the camera. For this, the camera has a clamp bracket ( 3.1 ), which holds the screen via a spring ( 3.2 ), a mandrel ( 3.3 ) and the holding hole ( 3.4 ). The screen is detachably connected to the camera ( 1 ) by means of a ribbon cable ( 4 ) via plug ( 5 ). The camera has a recess ( 1.1 ) on the housing in a known manner, in which the flat screen ( 2 ) (here with cable reel ( 3.5 ) for the flat cable) can be accommodated. The plug connection ( 5 ) - possibly also at the other end of the cable - has the advantage that the ribbon or the cable reel can be replaced quickly and cheaply in the event of a defect. The control of the flat screen ( 2 ) is in a known manner from the camera ( 1 ), the power supply of the flat screen ( 2 ) can be from its own battery or also from the video recorder.
In an advantageous development of the inventive concept, the housing ( 2.1 ) can have control elements ( 3.1 on / off switch, 3.2 zoom actuation) and the like for controlling the camera ( 1 ). These elements are advantageously placed on the upper and / or lower edge of the screen in order to enable both right-handed and left-handed users to operate them easily.
Fig. 2 shows a further version of a video camera ( 1 ), in which the data transmission between the camera and the removable flat screen is carried out wirelessly by data radio. Systems have recently been available for this purpose, with which digital data is transmitted at a high bit rate in a narrow environment. For the image viewing, for example, the installation of a (Bluetooth) transmitter ( 6 a) on the camera ( 1 ) and a receiver ( 6 b) on the flat screen ( 2 ) is sufficient, which must then be equipped with its own battery for the receiver operation during the Transmitter can be powered by the camera battery. The system can also be inserted into the camera in the form of a card (not shown).
DE 10 13 1305.5 already describes the need for synchronous recording several sound sources for video cameras for selective or interpretive playback individual sound sources for music. But it is also for recording debates from Meaning not only to record an overall acoustic impression, but individual ones To record contributions via your own recordings, in order to then reproduce them unmixed can. A directional microphone can only target one speaker at a time and without Direction selection, a mixture of the individual contributions is recorded. DE 198 53 885 shows that sound recordings are also possible for photo cameras.
It is proposed to provide video cameras in particular with a plurality of microphone inputs for connecting a plurality of external microphones. These connections can exist both in mechanical sockets and in a receiver system (for example electromagnetic, light waves such as infrared). The synchronous sound recording takes place on the (mostly) digital data carriers as a sound signal memory either coded for the individual inputs on one track, or on several separate tracks, e.g. B. on a tape, (mini) CD-Rom or (mini) DVD. Of course, the sound signals can also be reproduced individually or together. Fig. 1 shows such a camera with three inputs ( 3.6 ) for the plug of microphones, which can be placed at different locations for recording. Fig. 3 shows an example of wireless transmitter / receiver systems for synchronous multi-tone recording: Pos. 1 is a camera ( 1 ) with receiver ( 10 ) for three wireless transmitter microphones ( 11 ).
The advantages now lie in the possibility of being able to selectively record and play back individual contributions in an event relatively undisturbed by the other contributions, thus making the event more reconstructable. When recording music with several microphones on appropriately differentiated data carriers, one can selectively emphasize individual voices such as singers or musical instruments or, for. B. for karaoke purposes, suppress. For this purpose, differentiated sound outputs on the camcorder ( 1 ) are of course also available for selective playback.
WO 00/75756 describes security options for portable electronic devices Equipment. This backup only in connection with an operator network such as radio data transmission or Internet active and has sensors that record an illegal object movement, which is unusable for mobile camera systems. This system also requires one Receiver network to determine the theft when logging into the network. It is also not possible to have the device (short-term) available in an emergency, and nevertheless enable security against theft.
Since the cameras have high-quality electronic systems, it is possible without too much effort to check the technology of the user access, e.g. B. to install on physical coded data carriers in the camera. As FIG. 4 shows by way of example, the camera or the video camera are only made ready for operation by inserting a chip (item 7 with chip 7.1 ) or magnetic card or a numerical code must be entered. The technique - or a combination thereof - is fundamentally, e.g. B. known from banking (ATM). For this purpose, the camera ( 1 ) has a known reading device for such a code (not shown) and / or a chip card located at the owner (item 7 ) and releases the camera actuation if the codes match. A special programming can also allow the actually secured camera without the correct access, for example a scene recording of 10 or 30 seconds. This is an advantage if there is an urgent need to record a situation (e.g. accident) where the access procedure would take too long. Such a camera is of no interest to thieves, especially if such quick accesses are only possible a few times without special security. It then makes sense that such recordings are only possible in a limited number by means of a built-in lock and then require the code / card to be entered in order to make the camera operational again.
