The invention is described below with reference to the schematic drawing additionally explained.
In the drawing, a housing lower part 2 and an upper housing part 1 are shown in side view with the side part removed. The lower housing part 2 has a base plate 12 , furthermore at least one front wall 15 , an inner front wall 13 with a deflecting mirror for the light rays of a projection unit 11 indicated by lines. The upper housing part 1 and the lower housing part 2 are further separated by the rear partition 14 , which is followed by the rear wall of the upper housing part with the large-area deflecting mirror 4 . The housing upper part 1 is completed on the front by the projection screen 3 , on the back of which the light rays of the projection unit 11 are reflected. According to the invention, a channel attachment 5 is provided on the rear wall of the upper housing part 1 , which in the exemplary embodiment extends over the entire surface of the rear wall. The channel attachment 5 is formed by a mounting wall 7 , which also forms the rear wall of the lower housing part 2 . Air outlet openings 6 are introduced in the upper section of the attachment wall 7 , so that the duct attachment 5 , which opens into the lower housing part 2 , can develop a chimney effect. Through air inlet slots, not shown, in the base plate 12 or in the side walls, fresh air is sucked in by the chimney effect, which cools the electronic components of the built-in functional units. The heated air then enters the duct attachment 5 and exits through the air outlet openings 6 . In the exemplary embodiment, a deflector plate 9 is also attached to the partition wall 14 to the rear, to which a fan 8 is attached, which accelerates the air flow. The baffle 9 protrudes so far to the rear that any fluid that flows into the air inlet openings 6 unintentionally cannot fall onto the electronic components of the built-in chassis. A gap between the deflector plate 9 and the lower part of the mounting wall 7 ensures the air circulation, as does the outflow of the liquid in question.
